I think he's going to have to force his way into the side to play on Sunday and even then Roy seems more likely to line up defensively, personally I can't look past seeing the Lucas and Poulsen Combo since they're being rested.

hopefully, need more creativity than the brum game. Liked the look of him when he came on, was eager to get on the ball. And passed the ball forwards, which makes a nice change!

Excited to see Meireles get some game-time, he looked good for the few mins we saw against Birmingham.

Made up for Kelly and Spearing, good they get a chance, though I do see Kelly as having a much more realistic chance of breaking through in the long term.

There were a few youngsters who could have also had a go, they've already been mentioned, I hope they get a decent half hour from the bench, depending on the scoreline.

Poulsen giving the night off, not liking that. its obvious he's involved on Sunday.

It certainly looks a better balanced team than against Birmingham, but then any side without two DM's starting is going to look more attacking.

I just want to see more passion from our lads, it's been a couple of matches already this season that we've looked lackluster and standoffish in midfield, and let our opponents get the upper hand.

I'd prefer us to get stuck in and dominate from the off. Can always hope!

Out of the starting 11, I'd count 2 as first choicers from a yr or so ago.

Thats worse than the Souness era of Mike Marsh etc. Anyone who bought a ticket to support that tonight, should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

PS average 1st 11 player price of about 3.6million or thereabouts. I think sides have been relegated having cost more than that. Infact, there's probably Cocoa Cola Championship 1st 11s costing more...

Made up for Spearing and Kelly getting in the starting line up.
Would put Shelvey/Lucas on for Raul in the second half and give Spearing the 90.
Eccleston for Cole in the second half and Pacheco for Maxi/Babel in the second half.

Keep the energy and hunger up and hopefully a good result to boost the teams confidence before the big one.

I can't really see N'gog playing anywhere else but up front, so if they played side by side that would be interesting.

It's possible, but a few of the attacking players there could interchange positions.

I'd like to see us less rigid and more versatile TBH, adapting to whether our players are having more or less success, attacking-wise.
