Doesn't Old Trafford and 4-1 have a similar ring to it? Could of sworn I saw a Liverpool side involved in a 4-1 game at Old Trafford. Can anybody confirm this?

Judge Fernando Torres after hes played for a few games after injury and also now that we have a bit of creativity back in the side with Cole and Raul, he always comes back slowly from time out but all the negativity is soon forgotten when he starts banging goals in isnt it?

Saw only the first half of the game, still to see a record of the second. I was amazed at how quiet the Liverpool supporters were. I know it is not what we are used to, but still.. having our players being booed the whole time on our stadium.. well.. did not feel right.

First things first....Why were there Steaua fans in the upper Centenary? stadium looked half empty,can't blame them really £30 per ticket,but if we get to the final,i'm sure they'll be there..

Now for the performance.....i've just skimmed some comments on here,so here's my veiw from the upper Centenary....If this team was our strongest then it would struggle to finish in the top ten i'd go for 15th.....Lucas looked class when he came on! Please Babbel go now.

Ngog just not good enough,a championship player given a couple of seasons....maybe.

Liverpool's new players looked average....Cole has some praise here but i just thought he looked average....Konchesky looked nervous and made a lot of basic mistakes and his crossing was frustrating.

Spearing needs games.....will he get them? No and he'll be shipped on but i'd give him a go and drop Lucas,Meireles i'm not even going to comment until he plays against someone.

The Europa league like the champions is a joke so lets get back to a straight knock out,god steaua were poor,some neat passing here or there in the first half but in the second hey offered nothing.

Sat there last night i wondered what i was doing here,win lose or draw i'll still go but last night i lost my will,the Trab game was only £10 a ticket so why wasn't this?

It will take some time to see the final product- most of the players hadnt even played together before!
I for one, and excited to see the end product.

Cole impressed me throughout the entire game- he links up with Babel really well & is always creative- im glad his 3-match ban is over!
Would like to see more than 6 minutes of Pacheco- he is an up-and-coming star, give him at least 45 mins!
Lucas is starting to win me over- what a goal! I am also thinking he should be given a more attacking role-
Glad we didnt see Poulsen- but i am also hoping this means we wont see him Sunday either!
I will never be a fan of Ngog- but credit where its due.

European teams have for the last couple of seasons got tickets in the Upper Centenary, think it's something to do with the corporate side.

Typical that I miss the first 20 minutes of the game and then I fell asleep again at half time, I guess it's a good think I didn't see the full 90 'cause otherwise it probably would have been a nil all draw.

Believe me I'm made up with the result, but I think it flattered us somewhat.  Loads on here saying how good we were. The first half we were dismall. Cole's goal due to a sloppy backpass, and  shots coming from inside the box until Ngogs pen. And he was crap most of the game, two goals, one a pen, the other a stab at the ball following a disorganised scrabble around the box. Yes we did improve in the second half, butb that wasn't difficult considering the first half. We kept the ball better and moved a bit more fluently, but were still vulnerable to the quick break. A better side will punish us. Wish I could be more positive but didn't think we were grteat by any stretch of the imagination.  Lucas better, Spearing Stonger and much improved, Kelly o.k. but not top drawer yet. Maxi needs to get involved more, Meireles, will get better with more time on the pitch. Koncheski,  o.k.  Looking forward to Sunday but we still need to improve.

I love the shift in the crowd in the run up to our third goal. Boos and jeers following Lucas' first touch to standing ovation when he scores. Reckon he loved that

Strange game, best start we could have hoped to get off to, great 10 min  but after that the confidence visibly disappeared, and after the equalizer we were on the back foot. We got a break in the dubious penalty, and went from strength to strength.
