Take the test below to find out where you lie on the 'political compass'. It's a fascinating test and seems quite reliable.

      For anyone interested here's mine.

And remember - it's just for fun!

Not the best to be honest, look at the first question, it is so blatantly loaded as to make the rest of the test pointless -
"If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations."
And questions such as "There is now a worrying fusion of information and entertainment."  That is irrelevant to your political opinion. Yes, there is, however Tony Benn and Lord Tebbit could equally strongly agree with that statement.

Anyway, I won't bore you by picking the test apart any further.  Here is my result -

      Economic Left/Right: 9.25
      Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.05

      I don't know where I lost that 0.75...

Yeah some of the questions are false dilemma's and the like but I'm sure its only really meant as a broad tool and for people vaguely curious.

How dare you! Take that back!

The man is a statist.  He wrongly believes, like the Keynesians before him, that the government can manipulate the economy to a successful outcome, however, he simply prefers to use the money supply rather than the more blunt instruments of state force and coercion.

Ludwig von Mises, now that is a free market economist.

Resident communist reporting in.  Guess I could say I'm a better Red than all of you ;D

Yes, I'm aware of the simplicity of this test and that it's not 100% accurate and defining someone's actual political beliefs is far more complex and the questions aren't ideal to say the least (for reasons others have mentioned) and blah blah blah.

Massively couldn't be fu**ed talking about politics right now, it was just meant to be a joke.  I'm really stoned and don't care... but it's pretty accurate in my case.  Got the right quadrant!!

edit: Please don't ban me Reslivo, I know you're fascist and all.

Hardly a fair test, then. No stoner is a fascist.
