      This Is England '86

Anybody been watching it? Final episode next week I think.

Last night's events seem to have kicked up a little fuss with the public. But those complaining about it, in my opinion, need to wake up. Sickeningly, that is happening all over the world at all times. If anything, I think scenes like that help to raise awareness and victims may be persuaded to speak up about their own personal experiences.

Plus, at the end of the day, I thought it was fairly obvious what was going to happen. If anybody knew that they were going to be seriously offended then they had plenty of time to switch over or something.

I can honestly say I've never enjoyed seeing a hammer being used so much in all my life.

Wow that was uncomfortable to watch in points but was well put together and does make you realise that for some people there is no other way out of the situation.

My thoughts too. Really heavy episode that. Left me with a horrible feeling after watching it. Great acting though.

Stephen Graham is a brilliant actor.

The music throughout it all has been great as well.

My favourite band ever (The Jam) got a few plays.

Yeah I was digging the tune at the end Robbo! And Ste Graham is a boss actor.

If that doesn't win awards then I'll be surprised.

Yeah mate the music has made the whole thing work better. Was a very good series. Started off slow but I'm grateful for that now because it made the ending more appealing.

I loved the role that the girl played. Plus she looked quality with that short blonde hair. If I was her I'd have that as my appearance all the time!

I loved the film and want to watch the series. Unfortunately my missus hasn't seen the film and even though I've gone out and bought it for her, she still hasn't got round to watching it. We can't sit and watch the series until she's seen that so they're all stacked up on Sky+ at the minute, driving me mad!

Don't worry, I haven't read any posts in this thread so you won't have spoiled the plot, I was just airing my frustration! ;D
