      The Ryder Cup
      Sep 29, 2010 04:46:13 pm
It's here and in our backyard this time.  I personally love the Ryder Cup. don't watch as much golf as i used to, but there's nothing better than beating the Yanks. (no offense to our American LFC supporters, but we do enjoy it after so many years of losing).  last time we got spanked, but despite having quite a few rookies, i think we could pull this one off.  the event is being played at Celtic Manor in Wales.  I don't know the course but it looks top notch.

is anybody else going to be watching it, and what are you thoughts on a possible European victory.

After the rain of yesterday it's not a great start for Europe. Won the first game but losing the other 3 at the moment.

Shocking cardigans the USA are wearing!

I never miss this competition mate, love it.

I thought we had a good shout before it started but it's not looking good at the moment.  Nice to see Harrington turn it around this afternoon and loving the fact Michelson hasn't won a point yet.

      Come on Europe!!

Dissapojnting finish to the session with Cink holing a long one on 17 and Rory missing. Bug swing there. Could have been even going into the late afternoons play, but USA remain two points ahead. This afternoon we have to close the gap, as we have a poor record in the singles.

They're doing just fine, they've come out rejuvenated for these final 6 matches.

Know what you men about the singles mate though this team seem more capable as singles winners.
