Seems Poulsen withdrew from this. Hopefully, I'll finally get to see the central partnership I've waited for since a long time ago but I wouldn't be surprised to see Lucas playing in Poulsen's place.

Alternatively, you can have Cole on the left and maybe Babel up alongside Torres.

Carragher shouldn't be playing fullback anymore and I opted for Kyrgiakos instead of Skrtel mainly because he wins alot of aerial battles at both ends of the pitch.

I would love to see Raul and Stevie in the centre with Cole behind Torres. That leaves the wide positions. Amoo and Eccleston? Well I would. In reality Lucas will probably start with Maxi and Cole wide

Apparently he wants Ngog to play up with Torres probably more to the right. We will see but if it is true then I honestly believe he has made a pact with Ferguson to destroy our perch for good.

Pretty solid, but slow defence... not that worried about Carra at RB, he doesn't have the legs but he is a great defender and he won't be going up too much.  Skrtel and Kyrgiakos in the middle is alright.  Konchesky will be getting forward much more - I would imagine...  Not happy with Maxi, I'd have put Pacheco in - he couldn't do worse than Babel or Maxi.  Hope he proves me wrong.  Reckon Cole and Meireles will have good games today.

Most important thing I want to see is committed, aggressive, passionate, pressing, attacking football.

Still going with a naively optimistic EFC 0 -2 LFC...

On a lighter notes I was in Neighbourhood in Childwall, on Friday and Pepe and Arteta were in there being interviewed. Pepe signed both my grandson's tops while there were on them, what a thoroughly decent chap he is!!
Mikel Arteta is a nice guy as well, very approachable indeed (it pains me to say)

Daniel is a far better defender than Roy is a manager! DA is a real class act when on form and its Woys job to get the best out of him! May I remind him that its the managers job to manage and motivate playing staff.
