For those with a more technical interest in the new stand, a list of downloadable PDFs to support the planning application:

      http://northgate.liverpool.gov.uk/DocumentExplorer/Application/folderview.aspx?type=MVMPRD_DC_PLANAPP&key=898733

In the hospitality section they even have different coloured seats dead centre, obviously for the 'higher echelon' of hospitality. How very modern. *vomit*

One thing I've just learned is the team tunnel/changies will be under the new stand.  :(

After perusing and filling my lappy with PDFs, there are two documents that basically have detailed CG pics of all aspects of the planning and relevant information.

So go and download these two:

Yup, for some reason I was twisting the stands around. Technical drawings mesmerize me.

And its not Exlied.  I'm an honest man. ;D

Planning permission fully granted for phase 1 (main stand) and outline permission given for phase 2 (Anny Rd).

Get the F**k in!  This is massive for the Club in terms of us competing financially.

A question I've always been meaning to ask any local, or someone with the knowledge, about the Anny Rd end.

Does the club own the land on the other side of the road and if so what is stopping us building over the road and either blocking it off or having a tunnel?

The times I've been to the ground it appears the road doesn't really 'go' anywhere and traffic could easily move in the other directions to get round the stadium.

I think the proposed stadium needs it's own song, how about the old Barry Maguire classic,

      "You don't believe
      We're on the Eve
      Of construction"

      Quote
Had an interesting chat with someone close to the ground rebuilding work. Described it as a bit of a farce.

LFC have started changing the agreed spec and the price has gone up

Rodgers has been given lots of influence on the design of the sporting areas and changing rooms Etc

A small astro turf pitch will be hidden away in the main stand so the players get more warm up space on match day

Some of the main stand structure will remain with concrete added to raise the angle of the lowest rows

Apparently it’ll pay for itself in 4/5 years due to the increased ‘covers’- corporate seats massively increased

LFC had messed up some sight lines for the new upper tier meaning the roof on the Kop and Anny Road will need to be cut back several metres. That’ll happen next summer and mean the front rows of the Kop will get wet if it rains

And apparently the council are being slow in clearing the land holding things up

When it comes to the main build they will have 16 weeks to do most of the work- 200 men working 3 shifts 24 hours a day apparently

Apparently our last game of next year and start of the one after will be away to give extra time for the works

Builders will have penalty clauses for each seat not ready for the new season

Was told that the builders will have gear on site on the signed commencement date even if just for PR purposes as currently site not ready

The final thing he said was that the Anny Road rebuild will happen if we are still in CL, it’s not as crucial as less corporate seats

I don't understand why Rodgers would be given influence on sporting areas as it makes no sense?.

I would also be pretty pissed off sitting in the first rows of the KOP on a rainy day :(

I work in the NHS, we have had 2 new wards built and various other areas built with the guidance of managers, suits, non-clinical staff and architects.

What they came up with was not fit for purpose.

Recently a fire alarm was removed to be replaced with a sink. I sh*t you not.

The quote says Sporting areas, I guess that is the physio and treatment areas, bogs and showers.
