If somebody at the club leaked this unauthorized in the hopes of looking like an ITK to the Journos, I really don't see the parallel between the two things to be honest.

I never believed that much would be would be spent on a player, now it definitely won't. Too convenient I'd you ask me.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at the complete fuckwits who preside over transfers at Liverpool FC. No worries, we'll get somebody like Lee F***ing Cattermole and Michael mediocre Keane in as 'world class' signings.

      Way to F**k up guys!

Nice start to your job Michael Edwards. With form like that, one would think you were previously part of the transfer committee.

FSG and the transfer committee strike again - what complete and utter F***ing bellends.

There isn't a committee anymore. The book starts and stops with that numpty you posted a picture of.

Fair point - though the fact he was part of the transfer committee tells us everything we need to know.

Months ago most of us had misgivings about this incompetent fool in such a high position. Oh boy have we all been proved right.

This started as quite a reasonable day, it is now descending into farce! Will we never learn?

Without a doubt. I don't get how somebody involved in such a flawed committee could then be made the sole responsible party for transfers and the like. He was one of the worst too.

FSG, Gilett/Hicks...they all don't give a sh*t about our club, they just want revenue out of it. If you go to a whore, you get a whore. That said I think they want to pump more money into our club because they sense a chance to get to the level of Real, Barca and Bayern soon, Klopp has convinced them. So I don't think they won't spend big bucks, I think just some people in the organization are incompetent.

This makes us look so effing amateur. Could affect pulling in any iother big names.

Should we rename the club Blunderpool for the summer?

      What a joke.

We are overly sensitive with apologies and making sure other entities dont offend us or punish us:

      1) Take Sakho out of the team, because he "may" get banned and suspended, we know how well that turned out
      2) Take Matip out of the team, because Fifa "may" enforce us not to play him, because of retirement issues with Cameroon. Nothing happened in the end
      3) This apology for VVD. Tapping up goes on all the time.

      Good point.

I remember many of us at the time discussing Matip on here and why we just ignored or as he hadn't been selected anyway.

      Too soft.

Maybe Ayre wasn't so bad after all. Better the devil you know and all that.
He's also out of a job, wonder if FSG are likely to bring him back in place of Edwards.

For the record, I'm not saying we should get Ayre back, just a possible scenario.

Conspiracy theory - Given this is the second tapping up fiasco, could FSG be actually trying to get us hit with a transfer ban to save money?

No that would be to clever for them to conceive.

      They're simply morons.

Considering the alternative, i.e. FSG hierarchy haven't a clue about football, I hope so

Seriously though, no. I think it's one huge mess up and far as I am concerned, FSG now owe Klopp and the supporters big time
