Its not my normal reading . I was checking out something on Amanda Staveley the deal maker who worked on the Dubai / Hicks Gillett thing.
Google on Amanda ... threw up the Spurs and Liverpool connection on that days edition.

Interesting what you find out there.

Nothing like some friendly competition, unless corporate capitalism is involved.

Tbh just read a few of their comments on twitter and seems our new CEO Peter Moore has got a whiff of this and sorted it all quietly.

Whisper it quietly so far since his appointment, the feller seems to be doing a good job.

Heard the club suits have been sending solicitor's letters to the Hat, Scarf or a Badge shop over the use of "their" Liverbird.

Must be getting their knickers in a twist, what with the new megastore opening soon, can't have any competition now can we?

Did the same with my bro-in-law who has a LFC academy outside Boston, he's had to use a different image of the Liver bird to stop any legal action.
F***ing crazy when he promotes the brand, the club and the city in the US.
What's further F***ing crazy is why don't they collar whoever is responsible for putting two F***ing big Liver birds on the Liver buildings and get them pulled down!!  After all said and done JWH&Co do own the rights to the image.

It's legit Stuey, basically the club have tried to work with him to make sure he doesn't infringe the copyright.

I think the general concern was that suits weren't looking to put a local business out of business through greed. Seems CEO has got people from the club to talk to owner and even help him.

Another year of mediocrity, the occasional brilliance, but pretty much every other team in the premiership laughing at us. Klopp is a good manager, he is not that good though. sh*t transfer window, sh*t players knowing they are safe for another year at least, and more misery for us supporters.

Still, at least we can embarrass ourselves in europe on a grander scale, wont that be something to look forward to?
