When will be given the budget to get a team and a bench to compete with the the other top teams, we have been running on fumes the last few games you can see the players are knackered with no one to come in on a comparable level. About time our skinflint owners put forward a budget to reward the level the players and management have achieved

Our bench is a bit light...that being said if you put Ox, Can, Lallana and a striker (a fit Sturridge/Origi) and another quality wide player it would look much better, that being said I have a hard time taking you seriously when you say we need a team able to compete with other top teams seeing what we did to this years PL champions and the fact we are in the CL final.

Team and bench to compete. A couple more injuries and we would be in a different position

Plus all the top teams will be strengthening their squads, while we haven't spent Coutinho money

      Why didn't we spend it?

I thought people were saying we had already spent a chunk of it on Keita and VVD?

Some do say that...the gaffer disagrees.

]Klopp - all the Coutinho money will be reinvested in the Liverpool squad
Reds boss dismisses suggestions the Barcelona money went on Keita and van Dijk

JĂźrgen Klopp has vowed that all the proceeds from the sale of Philippe Coutinho will be reinvested into the Liverpool squad.

However, the Reds boss admits it could be the summer before he signs a replacement for the Brazilian, who completed a ÂŁ142million move to Barcelona this week.

Klopp is considering his options during the January window but the ECHO understands that Liverpool won’t be entering the race to sign wantaway Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez.

The German coach dismissed suggestions that the Coutinho money had effectively already been spent in securing deals for Virgil van Dijk and Naby Keita.

“We will get all the money,” Klopp said.

“Always since I’m in here we can have all the monies from transfers and more if needed. Since I’ve been in nobody told me ‘no way’. We talk about the age, the price, everything. It’s all good.

“So far we got all the players we wanted to have. If someone wanted to have other players then it’s my fault.

“You know I’m not a manager who goes to the owners and counts the money and says ‘look, this is what we’ve got, this is what we’ve spent, now we need that’.

“The owners are completely on my side. It is not that they say ‘You’ve got this but on the other hand we’ve done this and this and so you cannot spend’. Everything is fine. We have no money issues at this club.

“One player has left and it’s not too cool but it’s not a real problem at all. We will bring in other players, that’s for sure. If we do it in this window, I don’t know.”

Coutinho’s determination to leave for Catalonia shows that Klopp’s mission to make Anfield a final destination for top talent rather than simply a stepping stone remains a work in progress ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Premier League leaders Manchester City.

We already spent it to fund 2017-2018 season's signings of VVD, Salah, Ox, etc.

Even more remarkable that our operations was able to get teams to give us 45M for 2 busts like Benteke and Ibe. That deserves some kind of recognition.

      Question, slightly loaded:

Is it hypocritical to say say 'F**k FSG for selling Coutinho in January' and at the same time say 'F**k you Phil for leaving'.

When Man City played Kiev the flight with Tompson was ÂŁ300 return. The CL final with Tompson official partner of LFC is ÂŁ900 return.
If this is what the owners think make good partners they need to think again.
At the very least they should subsidise the tickets because without these incredible fans I very much doubt if we would even be in Kiev.

      Depends who's saying it 🤷‍♂️

What I mean is if the someone is saying both of those things then it makes no sense

If separate people say them then it's their opinion.

Personally I blamed Coutinho..nothing to do with the owners
