Perfect owners within the sport are very rare - they played a big part in getting us back to the top - that doesn’t excuse the current situation but when the football gets going again and players arrive in the summer many will have memory loss about it all

Sorry but sponsers will touch the club because they know there are millions around the globe who will have forgotten about all this within days - the shirts will still be bought. Nike and Standard Chartered for example aren’t going to suddenly pull the plug.

It’s sport but it’s also business and if some small sponsers or partners leave then it won’t take much to replace them. The value of the club won’t change and the owners certainly won’t be selling on the cheap

Nike won’t be going anywhere - just as the other shirt manufacturers for the other clubs won’t go anywhere. The reaction right now is raw - give it a week and outside Liverpool it will be brushed over. UEFA and FIFA still get huge sponsers and yet their confirmed corruption is on unprecedented levels

Depends in what way the fans decide to go, you say shirts will still be bought, if it starts going like H & G the call will go out to swerve buying kits (standards corrupted t-shirts and all the other stuff that was knocking about) and all the other tat that get's bought at xmas etc. Then the daytrippers follow cos they always want to fit in and don't want to be abused walking out of the club shop. There's a reason we were called internet terrorists by H & G!!

I think it’s a long way from H&G - the summer maybe key but with the team still at the top when players come back and Klopp there then it’s not going to reach those levels - Klopp leaves and players leave without being replaced then a tide would turn but I don’t see it being like that yet.

Right now there is bigger issues with UEFA and the question where this £6bn they have just spoken about comes from
