This is what Chelsea, City and yourselves have done to the market. The market is as they want it ....

Chavs and City yes, they have more  money than anyone to spend. In recent years we're coming more into line and lets remember we do bring in the most revenue and not oily money...... just yet  ;D

Mount isn’t going for 70m. Chelsea will have to have a fire sale if they want to remotely look like they are complying with FFP.

More likely they’ll have to take 40 or 50 for him. And they’ll be offloading other players as well.

No you're being extreme. We want more than a £20m net spend. We want Klopp backed. We want to compete and we don't want your Arthurs and Davies. It's as simple as that.

After you not realising what yesterday was, you're no longer in a position to demand anything lad!!

The flip side is that teams know we're desperate to sign midfielders, so expect us to be held upsidedown by the ankles until pockets empty. The few coins that we have in there anyway.

If you want to bridge a 30 point gap crossing your fingers and bending over that’s up to you. Don’t expect the rest of us to enjoy getting fleeced and strung along like mugs. All for sustainability, but there’s nothing wrong with a bit of ambition, and the fact that a) Bellinghams available, b) we were in the mix for signing him, means we should be pulling out all the stops. Would you turn down 120M for the next Gerrard or De Bruyne at 19 years of age. It will be peanuts in the long run.

When you look who is leaving and who needs replacing we’re going to need a few players and with no one to sell we will need a fair bit of investment wich knowing who our owners won’t be happening and if it doesn’t happen in the next window we will be in big trouble

      The market is crazy.
I think the owners will bulk at this and probably just give Milner a contract extension and give Tyler Morton a chance.

How financial savvy is this? They won’t even need to part with their money. And the savings could build a bigger stand.

Yeah but you're still well overpaying for players ... and overpaying on wages and along with city and chelsea helping to inflate both. The idea being it becomes so inflated only 2 or 3 will be able to afford the top players.

I know united generate alot of money. That's not in question.

Oh well over paid bunch of Maradona’s for sure. It is down to our revenue though but doesn’t make it right. 100k a week more than enough for any footballer let alone world class ones.

DeGea not signed new contract yet, don’t know if he wants more or the same deal. However, United currently in the middle of trying to do cost cap on all players so that might be stumbling block.

12 months? Wow, was going to comment on why in London when Lallana posted it but maybe stuff has been said and he doesn't feel welcome in Liverpool anymore or maybe he likes shopping in London and that's the max investment personally he has with England. I wonder does he even watch our games on the telly, surely he must do but somehow I think he may just look at results, I don't know maybe he does watch every game. He surely must do.
He's getting on a bit and why is he seen as the sole owner still when there is loads of these guys who own LFC now? It's like stroking his old age ego, he doesn't own us personally but gets the nod as sole owner. He's a manager of FSG, when you think about it, you could get more peed off thinking this is a group of rich as hell people and between them they can't come up with money for what needs to happen while we have a great manager here or even when we don't, that's more worrying obviously.
