Hope they sale the club soon. They have done a great job growing our club and brand. We have great news facilties and they've added to the stadium. With good business decisions they've helped us win everything anf get back to the top.

Super league. Trying to trademark the word Liverpool, etc. Definitely don't fully understand our club and don't seem completely bought into it either.

Just indifferent with their business first approach model these days. There was a time that we needed it, but not now. Now that we're back on our perch we need the club to be backed in the market year in and year out, rather than trying to do just enough to keep making money for the their sports conglomerate.

      There are two things

They arenā€™t selling the club - thatā€™s very clear now with the direction they are going

      And

The club is backed in the market year in year out

Can we also please stop with the false stuff about ā€œmaking moneyā€

The club made a loss in the last financial year and will prob make a bigger loss in the coming financial year

But we arenā€™t winning the transfer window 🤬

Are there any new trophies for winning that, which I haven't heard about ?  F**k, we need to splurge Ā£250 mill on anyone quickly before this window closes. Its clearly vital we can stay ahead there.

my god, are you listening to yourself?

There was a poster on the forum in 2009 who was well versed in financial matters and campaigned relentlessly for Rafa to get the bullet, his tag was sckinny and after monitoring his posts it became abundantly clear that he was a plant; the mods agreed and he was banned off the forum!

It's made worse by the same culprits clogging up every single thread with the same never-ending back and forth arguments.

At some point i hope the mod(s) step up and let this group of people know to keep all their crap to this thread and not clog up every single one.

Anyone who thinks they ain't on here I have a bridge to sell you.

Attempt to infiltrate the fanbase, the voice of the club, is a given. It happens in all businesses, whether it's an insider giving a positive review on a product, book, hotel etc.

Yes the current owners are tight, they are investors not football people who got us on the cheap and have looked to sell us on but as yet have not received an offer to maximise their return, and while the lack of backing the manager is a perennial issue for all the supporters, it's their tone deaf approach to issues outside of that is the worst thing about them.

      They are appalling people.

Suffering F**k, are you for f***in real ??  ā€œThey are appalling people ā€œ itā€™s abundantly clear your on a wind up here cos nobody that f***in stupid would come out with such absolute garbage, maybe you could elaborate slightly on yer name ā€¦.DeeCeeā€¦.does that translate late to ā€¦.Daft Cnut ? cos thatā€™s exactly what youā€™re coming across as,

In fairness the mods shouldn't have to do such things - each poster should be able to not take every thread down the same rabbit hole.

I suppose the only thing the mods can do (apart from kick some rockers arse) is start throwing bans/warnings out, which would be a shame because most of the culprits are decent posters. Even if they post like a divvy from time to time.

They might have one or 2 on RAWK but in absolute fairness to JD who has made a great community here for many, many years I don't think LFCREDS would be a target.

The issue is once you let non football people in, and in our case it's been two groups of carpet baggers, ie. opportunists with no affiliation or interest in the sport never mind the club, its then very hard to avoid that cycle continuing. Who do they sell to?

      Moores made the error.

The current ownership are alien to the club, the sport, the city. When Gerrard scored in front of them all those years ago (against Napoli I think it was) they would have had no clue who he was. Their attitude to all sorts of issues has been tone deaf since then.

The penny pinching and sabotaging seasons is one thing, but it's their arrogance towards the people here that is most galling. Furlough. Tourism deals with places with human rights issues. Attempting to take us out of the English pyramid. And ignoring the ticket price protests from people suffering with the cost of living.

Their sole aim is to line their pockets. And they have been over here what half a dozen times in as many years?

Does that detail how they got a club the size of Liverpool for an absolute song  ;D

Some investment from them to be fair keeping the club ticking over nicely and eventually flipping it for 3 or 4 times the money they paid.

Thatā€™s the way the market has gone

      Well the sport in general

The level of money coming in has massively increased and also the level going out

The club is massively improved since they took over and thatā€™s reflected in the value of it

If itā€™s worth less then itā€™s not doing so well

Iā€™m sure you are tying to find a point somewhere

Rodgers was hired by Werner and Henry after being interviewed for the job

Iā€™m guessing that was ok for you as you are quoting him as some sort of fingers to the owner - in some way

Klopp again was hired by Werner and Henry after being interviewed for the job

The structure of the club evolved between the two with the transfer committee coming in and then Edwards and Gordon becoming more involved after Klopps appointed in their roles as sporting director and CEO

Now we have a new structure in place

Edwards is head of Football for FSG , Hughes sporting director

      Next onto Slot

They interviewed him , decided he was the right man for the job , itā€™s signed off above and he is given the job

So are using Rodgers as negative to the owners ? Are you using him to prove a point about the owners

      Are just stirring

If you are struggling to understand how it all works and how itā€™s worked in the past - there are some great articles to help you understand

Weren't they advised by David Dein over the employment of Rodgers!!

And if they're bad, imagine how F***ing rotten the original cowboys must have been!!

In the rush to slag the current cu*ts, some are forgetting or weren't supporting us when the club was being F***ing raped by H & G.

I'll have these souless cu*ts and us challenging for the F***ing league every time to where we were circa the H & G era.

I couldnt give a fcuk about rodgers, hicks and his mate and anything else pre october 2010. All Im bothered about is the here and now and giving ourselves the best chance to win a title in may. With other teams apparently all poor according to people on here, it may not get better than this with regard to an opportunity to clinch no20.

      sh*t does happen.

Outed by the Durham based lad who did his own calculating and basically blew all his bullshit out of the water.

Don't forget the paid shill from Bristol who had his own site, using stories from the F***ing sun and was rimming Hicks massively. Called out by Scousers and wanted a sit down in Birmingham, because it was "neutral territory"

Think he got found out as a failed acting student or something.
