Just on the cricket debate, there is some traction to grow cricket in the States.

They held the most recent T20 World Cup over there, alongside the West Indies and Canada. They've also got the Major League Cricket going, which is their T20 tournament and they've got some of the biggest names in the sport over there.

It's mainly a knock off the IPL at the minute given a few of the teams in it are just sub franchises of IPL teams (Super Kings, Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians) but if they put enough money into it, I can see it growing to be a worthwhile venture and potentially the second or third franchise cricket league in the world behind the IPL and Big Bash.

Carry on talking about FSG now.

Certainly put Rounders(baseball) to bed I reckon if it took off proper 🤣🤣

So I read a report that FSG are NOT in talks to buy the Celtics. This seems to pop up from time to time, not sure why it keeps getting traction.

So are they trying to create a new franchise in Las Vegas instead? That was what I read as well.

Yea there’s been rumors of a franchise coming to LV. But from what I hear the new owners of the Mavs in Dallas want to move the team to LV.

If I could afford to send a plane to Boston, I’d be coming over to Liverpool this summer for the victory parade instead!

No sure why the need to mention Klopp & his staff pay offs whilst not mentioning where the rest on the money went or goes…🤔

Revenue went up by £20m and wage bill increased by £13m, so they squared off. Admin costs went up by £38m of which close to £10m was paid to departing coaching staff. There’s underlying admin cost increase of about £30m. We do not know where this £30m could have gone.

This year's champions league money is massive.  So that loss will disappear.

It's all crazy money in footi though isn't it now .

How is it well run when there are £57m of pre-tax losses? Tell us.

Because it’s not losses in the 100’s of millions and it’s losses that will have factored into budgets and covered

Kindly elaborate. You seem to be a lot smarter than all of us. £57m losses is acceptable. How much is unacceptable? What are the budgets and how are they covered? If you’re way smarter than us, don’t sideswipe.

Basically fans are paying more to the club with higher seating capacity. But expenses are way higher and we don’t exactly know where they went to. If can account for the higher £30m in admin expenses, you can defend your beloved FSG and settle us down. If you don’t know just say so. We could seal a player contract with £30m.

As they don’t break down the admin costs in published accounts then I have no idea what they can cover but imo I don’t expect them to be anything sinister

But It seems to align with most prem clubs costs

Unless you can think it’s anything
