Sorry man, I'm pretty right leaning in a lot of areas (others maybe not so much) and I think he's a complete embarrassment to the human race.

He's a textbook narcissist and he's an infantile individual that has no empathy or compassion for his fellow human beings. We'll all be better off when he's out of office (not impeached as that will cause even more chaos).

Liverpool's latest plans for Anfield stadium are REJECTED in astonishing decision

Liverpool's bid to change the future uses of Anfield has been REJECTED.

The Reds had submitted two planning applications to the city council - to hold music concerts and other sporting events at the famous ground.

But after a tense meeting in the town hall chamber today, the council's planning committee surprisingly voted to reject the proposals for other major sporting events to be held at the ground.

And on a very unhappy day for the club, the committee deferred a proposal to hold around 10 music concerts at the stadium.

The club faced stiff opposition to its proposals in the Town Hall Chamber today - with a number of local councillors joining residents who live around the stadium in calling for the plan to be scrapped.

Local councillors including Ian Byrne, Adele Dowling and Billy Marrat all spoke against the proposal - arguing that they could blight residents lives with noise, parking and anti-social behaviour issues - when they already put up with a lot during the football season.

A number of residents also voiced their concerns, with Nicola Cotter stating that the matchday traffic and volume of people already affects her family.

She said: “End of May, mid August is the only respite we have, I don’t want that taken away from us.”

Another neighbour delivered an emotional statement, saying those living close to the stadium feel they have been 'left out of Liverpool's plans for more than a decade.'

Liverpool moved to reassure local people - with a club representative telling the meeting that they are aware of the concerns of residents and are working closely with the city council to make sure there is as little impact on those living around the stadium as possible.

But that wasn't enough to convince the committee, who decided that the plans to hold major sporting events, because they would have too adverse an impact on those living around Anfield - and rejected them.

The councillors backed a motion from new councillor Harry Doyle to reject the proposals for the other sporting events - which narrowly made it through by four votes to three.

One committee member Cllr Dave Cummings said he had been fully in favour of the plans, before hearing from the residents at the meeting.

He said it was clear that the club had not been responding properly to local people's concerns.

A future decision will be taken on the music concerts aspect of the proposals, but the club may not be confident of a good result following today's shock committee ruling.

      F***ing right!

About time the club was forced to take a look at how their plans impact the local residents after shafting them for decades.

Trump continues to deliver the US' strongest economy ever...an economy that is lifting all boats if you haven't noticed.

Anybody that knows anything about economics knows that legislation does not filter through to an economy for at least 2 years after passage. The donald has done nothing...the economy was going to do what it's doing no matter who sat in the oval office.

The man has done absolutely nothing except alienate our friends, kowtow before our rivals while at the same time take us back 50 years in terms of divisiveness in this country.

Embarrassment to  every other person that has ever served in that chair...and that's saying a lot when you consider some of the ones in that group.

I will be curious how FSG deals with this setback
-scale back ambitions...team and or facility
      -support new politicians
      -initiate a PR campaign
      -invest in local media
      -all of the above
FSG has played this game before in Boston and emerged enormous victors

I always thought impeachment was to get rid before a lack of judgement and moral code prevented impacted on the nation.
Having seen previous incumbents impeached for what seems less serious matters Erik it baffles me how Trump is still standing.

You seem convinced that JWH&Co have the wherewithal to influence governments, MPs, city councils and last but not least local communities.
As stated previously - you obviously have never been to Liverpool.

The biggest stumbling block to Big Brother's schemes is something they have not confronted previously - the local Anfield community.

He is so clearly in the pocket of Putin; the rats that have surrounded him so far are starting to wake up and jump ship and I can very easily see him getting impeached over Russia - even staunch Republicans will turn on him over that.

-Individual tax cuts provided immediate additional and recurring spending power for most workers. Recent consumer numbers scream America is spending silly right now.
-Massive reduction in corporate taxes has incentivized business to expand...immediately. Traditional lag time has been dramatically reduced because manufacturing infrastructure already existed......manufacturi ng plants and coal mines sitting idle during Obama's 8 year abomination were "turn key" ready to get back to business. Ask US Steel and the America's coal miners how quickly they were back on the job.
-With the US growth outlook so positive the minute Trump got his tax plan passed, world energy costs surged immediately enabling existing US oil and gas operators, sidelined the past few years because of low unprofitable market prices, to get back on line and pumping immediately. Result...US is now a net exporter of energy which has singlehandedly added 1.4% to the  US GDP growth rate and reversed the import imbalance trend creating trillions in added GDP worth.
-Trump's  corporate profit repatriation window, slashing of restrictive regulations, tearing up failed trade pacts, and tariff threats have all forced multinationals to rethink/abandon overseas expansion and return to the US.
Look at the world's economies since Trump initiated this plan. China growth has reversed and corporations are pulling out. Canada is seeing a max exodus of business all heading south. ETC ETC ETC. Yet the US is booming.
To pretend that this economic transformation has nothing to do with Trump is as ignorant as it gets. And to state a 2 year plus lag time exists has me thinking you believe this is the 1970s.
The US is the world's biggest consumer and this President has created a seismic shift in how the world conducts business. He has incentivized and leveraged.....and the results have been immediate, they are impressive and will only improve.
But if you want to believe "Redistribution Barry" deserves credit....have at it. Give him a call on your rotary phone.

You know the price of everything and the value of nothing. The fact that the US is increasingly even more hated than it ever has been before, that your president openly admits he gets on better with Russia than with traditional allies, that he is openly racist … you're okay with that?

As true as you can get.
The ordinary grafter is overjoyed with the two years of crumbs, after which it is reviewed and no doubt found to be unsustainable, that will no doubt be a different administration dealing with the shortfall.

The big money people are  untouchable, their tax cuts continue unabated.
      Surprise surprise.
