Does anyone know our current level of debt as a club?

its about 10% of its value  which is nothing and it means FSG are very very wealthy on the return of their investment alone.

Is there a figure?  I saw some sort of meme saying our debt was Ā£386m and thought no way are we in that much debt. Then I realised I had no idea what our debt is running at. I was under the impression that we had very little debt.

The net debt to the bank was around Ā£20mil in the last accounts plus the inter club loan debt which is around Ā£79mil

The net debt is the credit line I believe and obviously the inter club ( one from the owners ) can be wiped off any time or paid back over any period

Is that the same Kenny who was happy enough to work for them again ?

He clearly held no grudge as they looked to move on.

Can you really see the king have a grudge bigger than his love for Lfc and the fans,i urge you to watch the documentary on Kenny if you haven't seen it,us fans and the club are so lucky to have two wonderful people in Kenny and JĆ¼rgen at our club, true legends not just for the football but the people they are.

Without stating the obvious, ok I will, they have royally fu**ed up whatever trust they thought they had with us, I was quite happy with them to be honest, they had backed JĆ¼rgen up to this unprecedented season itā€™s only since Covid that funds have been it seems difficult to come by,

But even that was a lie because where did the find the Ā£300M + for their doomed venture come from ?

As Americans, or any other foreign owners for that matter they would never nor will ever truly understand the passion British fans have for their football clubs, itā€™s not part of their culture, we are all brought up with our national sport, allegianceā€™s passed down from grandfatherā€™s, they donā€™t have that history like we have,

Like a lot of things stateside itā€™s false, baseball World Series for example, how the F**k can you be world champions when you only play with your own country, itā€™s only f***in rounders anyway, American football, why do they call it football when they donā€™t kick the f***in ball, except for a ā€˜field goalā€™,  there is no promotion or relegation in their leagues either, and they have franchises not clubs like we have,

So they will never understand the association we have, because they donā€™t have any themselves, itā€™s a business to them, make as much money as possible and not give a F**k if they win or lose,

J W Henry is the epitome of greed, he only sees dollar signs if he thinks one of his ventures will succeed, winning doesnā€™t matter to him, nor losing, only losing money will he ever be concerned about, thatā€™s why he doesnā€™t get us, thatā€™s why he wonā€™t get us, you have to live among us for a start to even have a incline of what we are about, he lives in Boston, he doesnā€™t or will never live here amongst us, heā€™s the archetypal capitalist, thinks that chucking money at everything is the answer,

His grovelling apology was pathetic, even that didnā€™t sound sincere, or that he had made a mass error of judgment, half a page of scribbled lines written just before the cameras rolled.

Iā€™m not sure if they can be removed as easily as the last lot of greedy cu*ts who thought they could roll us over, and they can apologise as much as they f***in want because the damage done is unrepairable, of course in time feelings towards them will wane but this will never ever be forgotten, so I hope their search for a buyer has begun already.

Edit;  Good to see some old friends back posting, Bad Boy & Walton, hope you guys hang around for a while, be good to have some more of the real fans on board instead of the plastic variety.

I've got low expectations of owners. I expect them to be greedy bas**rds. I don't expect billionaire capitalists to "get" socialistically inclined working class supporters, or to share their values, morals or interests. FSG have shown they are no exception to this.

But if we are talking about getting rid of them, I want to know who or what will replace them. Look around at the general standards for football owners. All the owners of the big 6 went for this ESL bollocks. Look further down the league. How many great owners are there you would want replacing them?

I can say for sure that I don't want sugar daddy sheikhs, Russian oligarchs, tightwads like Kroenke, or leverage buyout merchants like the Glazers. Nor do I want home-grown, small-time greedy cu*ts of the Mike Ashley variety. Now I'm not saying those are absolutely the only types of owners we could get if we got rid of FSG. What I'm saying is - I don't like the odds.

If Kenny D wins the Euromillions and wants to buy the club, count me in. Even more so if the fans can buy a majority stake (although obviously Bojo will not be rolling that out unless under serious pressure). But if it's get rid of FSG and take a leap in the dark with whoever makes them the biggest offer, on balance I'd feel safer sticking with the devil we know.

I will add 2 big qualifications to that. First, what has surprised me somewhat about this ESL sh*t is how f**king stupid it was. The fact they can miscalculate that badly means they are stupider than I thought. Second - was this some kind of desperate move because our finances are in a far worse state than we think? Up to now, I have thought FSG seemed to be managing our finances pretty competently. Obviously the pandemic has given them a hit. But if it is more than that, and we are actually in some kind of serious financial sh*t, then what I said above about not getting rid of them goes out the window, and I would want them out.

But if our finances are still basically ok then, yeah, while they have shown they are stupider than I thought, but about as greedy as I expected, my view would be that replacing them would have about a 1 in 3 chance of us getting better owners, and a 2 in 3 chance of worse ones (just by looking round at the owners of other clubs), and I would not be pushing for them to go.

More like it used to be, but sh*t falls down and the diving over minimal contact and cards for shoulder barges narcs me off something chronic. Hard but fair is how I like my football...

To be fair to your yank brothers and sisters, there are plenty of us that have come to understand the love you colonizers have for your soccer (you named it that not us). In fact I much prefer the club setup and promotion relegation and the league structure. I wish sports over here were like that and to be fair, football (the kind you kick with your football the time) has become my favorite sport because Iā€™m sick of the commercialization and worship of American sports.

Actually my favorite sport is XC and T&F but footie comes closely after.

Anyway, the fact is John and his buddies donā€™t understand the supporters or the city or the country because they donā€™t have to. They can make money through the international fanbase and thatā€™s what theyā€™ll continue to figure out ways to do if they think they can get away with it.

Now that this 'over', lets talk about VAR, the biggest killer of football, than theres ever been.  People in rooms telling refs whats right and wrong.
Goaline tech, i'm good with, but telling a player who is working in margins by timing his runs, does not cut it with me. Telly shows us if he is off or not

I think it's the other way around. Each of the founding 12 were to get 350M when joining the ESL.
