Ive never bought one, ever for myself. Had a few as gifts over the years and bought a few as gifts as well.
All mine hanging in the wardrobe, never been worn.
A scarf is plenty for me.

Replica kits are for children, I haven’t had one since I was 15.. I’ve gone home and away for 25 years and never worn a shirt

Our wages were £325m last year. Goes into covering expenses. Still need to find £££ for transfers. I believe FSG has some capital injection from Redbird. Hope some of these filter down to the transfer funds.

That's about 2 Mbappe's. Not a bad chunk of change.

That's half for Mbappe, the rest is his wages!

When basketball superstar LeBron James bought a two per cent stake in Liverpool back in 2011 for £4.6m he would have hoped for a healthy return on that investment. As of last year, according to reports, that stake is now worth in excess of £40m.

how wrong is this when families have given their hard earned cash for generations to watch Liverpool this chancer comes along and makes more money the people could ever dream of.
what happened to the £500mil investment where has that gone.Bill Shankly probably isnt turning in his grave he cant be arsed after seeing his beloved club sold out people who just love money not football not the City just money

LeBron has cashed out of LFC I think

Think his investment in LFC is now an investment in FSG instead

Not sure if any money changed hands, maybe just a stock swap, got rid of his LFC shares and got FSG shares in return

As for why, you'd have to ask LeBron, but logic dictates that he thinks FSG are a better long-term investment than LFC. From a risk perspective it makes sense, he's taken his eggs out of one basket and is spreading them around a bit.

LeBron carries $40 million in his pocket as change, that's nothing to him.

I think that's about 1 year's worth of NBA salary. That's before endorsements.

      Nor could I

I don't even know who he is  ???

Did he win this Love Island thing or something?

But it could indicate that some investors are seeing the end of the LFC (English football) gravy train and there isn't much more upside to be had from owning LFC, or a bit of it. In other words, we have hit peak TV money (in real terms), and the super league door has been closed so the opportunity to make absolutely pots more cash has been closed too. In other words, LFC have just become a sort of Steady Eddie investment, and one with a big downside if we stop making the top 4 on a regular basis.

I've been reliably  ??? told by someone on here - presumably American - that FSG will never (NEVER NEVER NEVER!) sell LFC, but Steady Eddie assets with reasonably high downside risk wouldn't be top of my list of places to invest in. Seems like LeBron agrees.
