This gives us creativity through the centre in our strongest positions - we don't have any wingers at the club so I see no point in using a formation which depends on them (take note hodgson!). It also plays players in their familiar positions (are you awake at the back, hodgson!).

Just updated this and replaced Torres with Ngog. No room for sentimentality I'm afraid. Whoever is playing best should be in the team!

Dear Roy Hodgson,

Please play everyone at their best positions. Please tell the wide players to stay wide. Please tell them to attack the opposition from the first second.

There's no point putting Gerrard at his best position when Meireles and Cole are not in theirs. There's no point putting Meireles in his best position when Gerrard and Cole are not in theirs.

And it's teams like these that he should be adventurous enough to try another tactic/formation other than the sh*te he has been putting on the whole season.

Not a hope of getting a win there the way were going not a hope

And why are people picking Pacheco in there 11's that clown wont use him because he can actually do things with the ball therefore doesnt fit the plans, like Agger.

I put Dani, Agger and Aurelio in my line up Brian as the team I would like to see.

Like you I'm pretty sure Roy is not thinking along the same lines. I don't see Pacheco getting any decent game time while Roy is here and the same goes for Agger.

Spot on mate would let Lucas screen and give gerrard and mileries a free roam in the midfield. Let Cole and Dani provide width and support torres.
 I think we should play this formation much more often, just like chelsea/ man city do do 4-3-3

I have lost the belief that we can win a football match.

Plenty of people including Agger in their line-ups.

Last thing I heard was that he had a back injury, LFC.tv's injury tracker only says we are waiting to discover the extent of the injury.

Someone please tell me I'm wrong and he's fit, we could really use his quality!

I understand Aurelio is still on a 'bring him in slowly' fitness program, so I don't think he's ready for a full game yet, so I'm not starting him at LB. 

I think the above lineup is attacking.. and supportive of Torres.  He needs a few goals.  I would stick the same lineup against Blackburn too.

On current form napoli to win 3-0.

Woy needs to stop letting his dog come up with the tactics!

On current form I say we would be lucky to lose 1-0, however we can bring the magic on in Europe!

After the game at the weekend, it is hard to see anything other than a loss. However, one small spark of hope remains in that when RH eventually made the changes at Goodison and applied some speedy wingers late into the game, I personally thought we looked a lot better. Albeit he left it so late, we had no chance to change the game. Therefore I would go for:

For me, this offers lots of pace and width on the wings (if Jovanovic can stay wide that is). And obviously some support for 'Nando. Put it this way, it couldn't get any worse, and would show some positive intentions. And I've left Cole out, because frankly, he has been dire so far...
