I want to see Shelvey get some game time again. He looks like he could be a real player in the future.

Sad b***ard that I am this would normally be the highlight of my week looking forward to watching them. I couldnt bring myself to watch MOTD having painfully watched the Derby on here.Never felt this way before and after over 40 years support I dont recognise LFC as the club I have supported all these years. I am thinking about leaving all viewing until Roy has gone as for going to the game noway am i going to watch a defensive Liverpool at Anfield. I suffered enough of that under Gerrard Houlier. Roy stop using the oouji board to pick the team it really isnt Shankly you are contacting it is more likely Harry Catterick.

I'm going to be somewhat adventurous and possibly controversial in my choice here....

We'll be lucky to lose this by only a couple of goals.

No wins in 6 games heading in to this game.

What I don't expect to see is Carragher trundling about at right back again.  Kelly is a must to start.  If Agger's fit he has to start - he's the club's best centre-back.  His treatment under Hodgson is nothing short of a disgrace in my view. 

I'd give Shelvey a game alongside Meireles and play Gerrard behind Torres.

The other thing is the team-talk.  If I was Roy, I'd tell the players to forget everything I have told you in the last three months and go out and attack.

I don't think it's possible to attack under Hodgson. Honestly, I really am getting frustrated with his tactics and his late/ineffective/absent substitutions in matches. Gerrard waiting for instructions from him yesterday in Goodison said a lot, and to be honest looked quite similar to when Torres was substituted off during the Birmingham match last season.

I'd like for things to turn around quite quickly, as it appears that we are truly running out of time to do so.

Just hope to see a decent team performance for once, Although I must admit it is very hard to see a win the way the side has been playing.

I havent felt so low on confidence and hope going into games since the end of the Souness era!

The Italians are going to be so up for this game and I feel we will lose this regardless of what team Hodgson selects.

Exactly. To them were still Liverpool giants of Europe. They will want to get stuck in big time and the scary thing is we arent playing like a tesm who will respond well to it

Can see another defeat on the cards here. That will be Roy's Europa excuse gone. I would take a defeat here if it meant getting Roy out before he can do anymore damage in the premier league.

Agreed with the lads giving Shelvey a chance. Roy you've given Lucas and Poulsen a go, nothings worked try Shelvey partnering Raul or Gerrard in the middle and see how it goes. You have to try something F***ing different.

I don't care about the line up I care about where they line up. Maybe 20 yards further up the pitch.
