Have to admit i'm desperate for Roy to leave I just hate to lose ! I'd love to see a good display and concentrated effort from our players against Napoli ,if we play well and lose it will still hurt but we need to play like we used to ..'the liverpool way ' ...if we do lose then i reckon it's bye bye Roy !

Cynical ,i know, but i'm wondering who Roy's going to lay the blame on if we don't get a good result ,will it be because of leaving our top players out to rest them ? or because we are playing our 'fringe' players ? ..it's getting bad when you think like this before matches isn't it !

When all hope is down, i bet hes gonna pull a rabbit our his ars*.

I can see us winning this, away, no fear, shoulda at least play attacking football.

Depends is we're going to be half asleep for the first forty five.

Roy looses 1 or more of the next 50 or so matches hes gotta go.

After reading the latest on who travelled to Naples I have decided I want to change my proposed team for tomorrow..

      GK- Humpty Dumpty
      LB- Wile E Coyote
      CB- Marvin the Martian
      CB - Daffy Duck
      RB- Roadrunner
      LM- Minnie Mouse
      CM- Fred Flintstone
      CM- Barney Rubble
      RM- Pluto
      CF- Dangermouse
      CF- Dick Dasterdly

Subs from- Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble & Gruff oh and Mr Benn as our secret weapon.

I reckon they stand as good a chance as anyone after one of Woy's team inspiring talks....
Dick dastardly would no doubt have some cunning plans like Baldrick, but my concern is that if he was through on goal, he would stop for no apparent reason when in a winning position, and hatch an off the cuff plan to scupper the other team, when he could simply put the ball into the back of the net!

This plan would no doubt end in failure and pain for poor old Dick and be follwed by shouts of curses and stifles laughter from Woy (Mutley) Hodgson on the touchline.

But tomorrow night is a choice between fun times or watching Poulsen and Lucas pass it backwards and sideways whilst Carragher screams at everyone like he thinks he's King.

Haha Poulsen and Lucas. Watching them two for 90 minutes would kill my sex drive for a week.

Touche.  It's still a Liverpool game though, I must admit it is getting harder to drag myself outta bed at ungodly hours to watch.  On the flipside, if you need motivation to not 'arrive early', just think of Poulsen and Lucas knocking it back and forth for hours on end.

At least it looks as though you will score.  More than be said for LFC.

Does the fact that two male footballers effect your sex drive seem homo to you ;D ?

Anyway OT would it hurt for Woy to play some of the younger players.

      Our median age is 29.

Gotta say a big good luck to the fans over there, and thoughts with them. One guy already in hospital apparently as Napoli fans went on a hunt last night and stabbed a fella. The part of football i absolutely hate, i mean we all rag on each other, but id never go looking for another teams fans to actively hurt them. It's sad, real sad.

      Oh my...OH MY...

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has left both Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres out of his travelling squad for tomorrow night's Europa League clash in Naples.

With one eye on this weekend's vital Barclays Premier League game against Blackburn, the Reds' boss has opted to leave his star duo behind on Merseyside to give them maximum preparation time ahead of Sunday's fixture.

Hodgson is also without Glen Johnson (injury) and Daniel Agger (illness) for the trip to Italy, but Christian Poulsen is fit to return to the squad after missing Sunday's defeat to Everton.

Liverpool squad: Reina, Jones, Hansen, Konchesky, Aurelio, Kyrgiakos, Skrtel, Wilson, Carragher, Kelly, Spearing, Poulsen, Shelvey, Maxi, Babel, Jovanovic, Pacheco, Eccleston, Cole, Ngog.

IMHO it's a good job they haven't travelled for this two bit comp.

I can imagine the stick Roy would get if either Torres or Gerrard got injured in Italy leaving them out of a MUCH MORE IMPORTANT game for the weekend.

Deary me Roy - you're dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.
