Would You Welcome Rooney?

Getting ready to be flamed but would you welcome former Everton & current Manc Wayne Rooney to the club?

Obviously he would never come to Pool as he has stated that he hates us and i know the feeling is mutual but if he did i would  be curious on how people would react. Dudes world class but a total carnt.

I think there is a major difference between saying that, and going to manure, to declaring hatred of a team and then going to that team. He hates us, and thus he will never come. I will eat my hat if he ends up in a Liverpool shirt, such is how much i think this point is dead.

 I would love LFC to have another match winning player, who works hard and still seems open to improvement, but Rooney will not come here, there is to much history and I doubt NESV would pay the £10 million a year in wages
 If the new owners wanted to make a statement showing some intent, they could make a bid a cheeky bid ( £8 million ?) and offer Rooney the wages he wants, this could also have a positive effect on and around Anfield, Rooney would never come here but by making a bid it would make me feel a bit happier about the new owners
