Lisandro Lopez (Lyon)

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is being offered Lyon striker Lisandro Lopez.

 Lyon may be willing to allow the Argentinian forward to leave and clubs are being sounded out.

Hodgson is eager to strengthen his strike force and give his squad more options as they are relying heavily on Fernando Torres.

But it remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be afforded transfer cash by the club's new owners to go an buy new players.

Age is nothing when it comes to signings, just look at the superstar that is Poulsen.

On the subject of Carlton Cole;

 Carlton Cole has scored more Premier League goals (38) than any other player without ever recording more than one in a single match

By my calculations (which are admittedly probably sh*te) Mr Cole averages 7 league goals a season over his career. But looking on the bright side he'd be scoring in 7 different games

Lacks physiciality? Corbally, this guy is a F***ing monster mate! He's hard as nails and definitely won't be a push over for defenders.

Disagree with you here Crouch he is a small man and I think he will struggle in the Premiership but he is a level above some of the sh*t we are getting linked to in the last few days.
