Hmmm there's alleged rumors about Young that I'm not willing to announce on this board, but he's said to have a lot in common with Mr Giggs and I don't mean plays on the wing.

Wonder how many people have started typing something and then stopped and cancelled it all out?

Very short sighted. If Man U go down the tubes then it will pretty much be the bursting of the bubble and no club will be safe.

Love LFC all you can but wishing bad on others is just poor Kharma in my view and should be avoided.

Christ-on-a-bike, people have such short memories. Less than a year ago we had two American wankers damn-near destroy us - how can you wish that on others?

Sure, like every club, even LFC, Manure have some wankers as fans, players etc. but, like it or not, they are a proper football club who have EARNED their success.

It is now up to Kenny and the boys to "knock them off their F***ing perch" as soon as possible but not because they fail financially but because we OUTPLAY them.

      Softlad.

Ashley Young passes Man United medical ahead of £16m move

      Published 17:53 22/06/11
      By David Anderson

Ashley Young will finally complete his £16million switch to Manchester United in the next 24 hours after coming through his medical.

Young was assessed by United’s medical team this afternoon at the private Bridgewater Hospital near Manchester city centre.

Young’s tests were the final hurdles in his move from Aston Villa to Old Trafford and the transfer was agreed earlier this month before he went on holiday.

The England winger will sign a five-year deal with United, which will double his wages to £130,000-a-week.

United are making Young one of the best-paid players at the club to fight off Liverpool and Manchester City and the Blues were ready to hand him an even bigger deal.

;D Michael Owen coming out and talking about the Young transfer, I'm sure talking about transfers is the only involvement he has with that club these days

Or may be he comes out and says something so that people still remember he is there. Or Fergie has asked him to earn his wages and he finds this to be the easiest way.

Hopefully. United have a decent selection of wide men so he will find it difficult to play week-in week-out. I wouldnt be surprised if whiskey nose only bought him coz he knew we were interested.

What an absolute cock, I wish he would just f*ck off. Isn't he on a pay-as-you-play contract? So he must be earning f*ck all

Personally for his playing career and his future England prospects don't think it is a good move for him but for financial reasons probably is

United will have some very good wingers in fairness to them now. I rate Valencia very highly and they have some unreal win% when he plays in the team as opposed to when they don't. Having Valencia/Young/Nani/Park going for 2 places is not a bad complaint.

Another player who chooses United over us. F***ing hell that's twice already and the window isn't even open.

But I'm not a fan and he's made his choice. He can f**k of like the rest of the manc's.

Jones was a tough one to take but if we could land Zapata then we've easily got the better player both now and for the future as far as I'm concerned.

Young I'm really not assed about and if we could get Mata then again we've easily got the better player.
