Reds agree Poulsen transfer

Liverpool FC have tonight confirmed that they have reached agreement with Evian Thonon Gaillard for the transfer of Christian Poulsen.

The French side have now been given permission to talk to the Denmark international.

Why are we treating Poulsen like sh*t here? We should be treating him with dignity just like he did with us. He never said anything negative about his time at the club and yes while his signing was a massive error of judgement why should we take our anger out on him? Purslow and Hodgson should be the two men held to account. His time at the club was far from a success but we should all wish him well at his next club. I hope he does well.

My thoughts exactly, and I'm sure when this transfer window closes and we can discuss all our moves, that will be a sentiment echoed by many other reds on here.

Good attitude, head down, tried hard, gave his best every game, unfortunately just not good enough.  He is not responsible for bringing him to Liverpool, I bet he was honoured that this great club were in for him, any player would jump at the chance to play at Anfield.  Didn't work out, not his fault.
