Riddles

Tried searching if there was such a thread but couldn't find any. This is easy, just try to come up with the answers without googling 

1. What object has keys that open no locks, space but no room and you can enter but not go in?

2. Schwarzenegger has a big one, Michael j. Fox has a small one, Madonna doesn't have one, the Pope doesn't use his, and Clinton uses his all the time. What is it?

3. What English word is nine letters long, and can remain an English word at each step as you remove one letter at a time, right down to a single letter. List the letter you remove each time and the words that result at each step.

4. Every time it is spoken, this is broken.

5. In your drawer, there are six white socks, eight black socks, four tan socks and two brown socks. Without looking at the socks, how many do you have to reach in and pull out to end up with a matching pair?

6. You can take four of the five letters out of this word, but the pronunciation never changes. What is the word?

Off the top of my head. 1- keyboard. 2- penis. 4 - silence. 6 - queue

The answer to 6 could also be aitch.

#2 could also be surname, but I like your logic racer.

#5 is two

Remove t, staring
Remove a, string
Remove r, sting
Remove t, sing
Remove g, sin
Remove s, in
Remove n, I

4, Silence.

5, is 5 as there is only 4 different colours of socks white, black, brown and tan so if you pull out a fifth sock your bound to end up with a pair.

6, Queue

Nah mate I'm good at riddles, I even started a thread in here the riddle me, this riddle me that thread I think, been a big fan of them since I first watched Batman, even though I'd seen 5 out the 6 riddles you posted before so I already knew the answers.
