Players that you'd spend 20million pounds on !

Theres very few players in tle world that are worth spending ridiculous amounts on,And paying 20 million+ for a player you would want him to have a huge impact on your club.

With our situation at the moment i would be reluctant to splash out on big money signings who aren't worth half of there value e.g
Ramires-22 million to Chelsea
Kolarov-19 million  to Man City
David Silva-32 million to man City

If you were to pay 20 million plus for a player who would you pick and why ?

My choice would be to bolster our strikeforce Andy Carroll If he was from any other country you would probably pay between 12-16 million for him but being English i think he would cost about 20 million.He's a proper centre forward and for only 19 years old he's frighteningly good i think he'd suit playing with Torres perfectly.

He's turning 22 in January

Carroll would need to be on a team with wingers. Good shout that is however. I'd give 20 mill easily for Mata and Banega as well, and obviously other superstars that won't be going anywhere (like Pato).

Spot on!  I'd also throw Coentrao and Hazard on that list.  I'd have us go after Lukaku before Andy Carrol, but thats just my opinion.

Why sure if we spend 20 million on Aqualiani, or Robbie Keane ...and if worst came to worst we would recoup most of it,I'l come back to this thread in a couple of years i think he has a big future !

Why spend £20m on 1 player Shen Roy can get 6-7 players in their 30's for that.

I would even spend 25m for Carroll the guy is a beast and alongside Torres they would rip apart defenses for fun , but we'll need to add a natural winger in our side to if we get Carroll ( not going to happen I know just a wish). Get Carroll and Adan Johnson and we'll be fine.
