I thought he was a dead cert to go to Chelsea at one point. But now i don't know with Chelsea they don't seem to spend as much. One things for sure all the big clubs in Europe want this lad.

I doubt we will be able to offer him anything near as much as other clubs can at the moment in terms of quality of football, but we don't have depth in strikers so he will play.

I can't see him coming here. He has said that Real Madrid is his dream club, and they want him too, but he's not ready yet to leave Anderlecht.

I don't think he will leave anderlecht in January. He always said he wants to finish school first (which would be in june) and also his dad knows what he is doing and will make sure he stays in Belgium untill at least the next summer.

And to be fair, I don't think we will be able to get him in the summer window. He said that he would really like to play for Chelsea and Real Madrid, and if those clubs come in, we are out of the market.

But of course I would love him at Liverpool. He is just 17 and is already a great player. If he can develop in the next few years he could become one of the best.

Liverpool set to press £20m Lukaku move

Liverpool are ­pressing ahead with a £20million swoop for Belgian strike sensation Romelu Lukaku – despite Roy Hodgson being given the boot.

Kop talent-hunter Damien Comolli is understood to have approached Anderlecht about the 17-year-old ­striker who already has eight caps for his country.

The 6ft 3in powerhouse hit 15 goals in 33 league games for Anerlecht last season despite starting on the bench for 12 of his appearances.

His performances for the Belgian club have attracted scouts from all of Europe’s top clubs including both Manchester clubs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs as well as the giants from Spain and Italy.

Pretty well know fact, he wants to finish school which will finish at the end of this season. If we're gonna get him it'll be in the summer. Would rather get Suarez for 18 million, less risk involved.

Also in the people maybe there is something in it. Would be a massive gamble for a seventeen year old to be honest. Twenty million is a lot of money

I dont know what it is about this lad but i think he'll end up a world class player. He has the lot, but as you say Corbs its a big risk alright.
