My point being I don't think he's a 35m player.

I know Red5man, potentially he is but yes I also don't agree with paying for undeveloped potential before it's proven. My point simply that we argue too much on here someone is worth x when it's not actually our money, if Hazard can be bought for £35m and it has no impact on our future spending then why not, if we have a budget then things are different but I get the impression with FSG that budget is not something they do, they take it deal by deal and if they see value in Hazard at £35m then I wont complain if they sign him for that.

A player who seems to be doing the rounds for this transfer window is Lille attacker Eden Hazard. Liverpool are one of many clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan that the Belgian international has been linked with. The 20-year-old helped Lille to the Ligue 1 title last season and his consistent top class displays have seen his club put a valuation of €50m on his head. Joe Cole, currently on loan with the French champions, could be used as a makeweight in any deal.

I think that Joe Cole at the minute gives us a slight chance of signing him. If we didn't have him on loan there at this time I wouldn't have said we had any kind of hope.

Eden I think would be amazing for us. People were talking about Silva a few years ago and how we needed him, just look at the player he has turned out to be. I think it is going to be the exact same with Hazard, I hope he just comes to Liverpool, because he will become a world class player, in my opinion.
