Worth pointing out that just coz they didn't / might not sign doesn't mean we weren't / aren't in for them especially with our preference for doing our business behind closed doors.

For me there was too much noise around Silva /Aguero /Mata for us not to have been asking any questions it just so happened that another club went the extra mile to secure the players (or the players chose not to come).

Out of everyone I really hope we go the extra mile to sign Lucas - would hate to see him go to mancs or chels for a fee of around 25m (50m then fair enough)

maybe, just maybe the club have decided not to buy them because of the wages they are asking for, maybe we haven't spoken to their reps and maybe, just maybe they don't want to come to us.

Aguero was already a big and proven before he went too city. I was I big fan of Lucas 6 or so months ago but know he is known by every big club around the world and will cost 50m or something.

We got too stop buying players for the future as we have a young and upcoming squad. We have the best youth that we have had in years so we don't wont to stop there development.

I hope we buy players that are world class where we need help but that isn't always possible.  The difference between World Class and Superstars are Superstars are players usually under 22 are the next big thing worth around 40-50m and are not proven most of the times. World class players are player worth around 20-35m. That are ready to go in any team.
