I'd have him in a heartbeat. Would be quality on the left for us.

Me too, I'd love this guy on our left or right flank. Good old fashioned get it and take them on winger.

I say that you should search for already existing threads before starting a new one. ;)

Other than that, i wouldn't mind having him here.

FFS. lfc_ywna, haven't you learned the new day of football?

A player can push a deal through to any team they want. Just look at Torres.

If Adam Johnson wants to join LFC, he'll push it through.

I'd snap him up, one of my top targets.

I'd imagine that he'll want to join us but it doesn't always make it the case. If it was any other team in the premier league bar City and United then I'd think we could get him.

I rate him highly, best English winger IMO but it doesn't matter if he wants to leave. All that matters is if City want to sell and they probably won't.

Simply fact is that if City doesn't want to sell then he won't leave, doesn't matter how much Johnson asks to leave. Even if they did want to sell him they would rather sell to a forgein team or a weaker team then us.

Torres was able to push through his move because LFC aren't owned by a sheik and we value 50 million more than a sulky player.  City have more money than sense, and do not need to sell.  If they sell him, which I doubt they will, it will be to a team outside of England, or to a team traditionally in the bottom half of the table.  I'd say the most likely scenario is that they will loan him out to a team where he will continue to grow and develop as a player, but will remain on City's books so that they can bring him back if/when they deem appropriate.  Mark my words, they will not sell a talented young England international to a rival club (LFC, Chelsea, Man U, Tottenham, Arsenal).

I believe if Mancini is the boss next season, Adam Johnson will be sold.

And I don't think it'll be to a foreign club.

Would love him at the club he is light years ahead of Matt Jarvis, dunno about City selling to us though, Johnson hasn't a hope in hell of being a regular there next season he is not a big enough name. If he stays there he will waste his career

Top player, someone I have admired for a while now, would love to see him at Anfield and he'd suit red a lot better than pale blue  ;)

I hate Man City cause they have players like Johnson on the bench to rot while they could be scoring goals for LFC.

Admire him and really wanted us to sign him when he was wanting to leave Middlesborough.

He never should have moved to Man City because he's at the age where he needs to be playing alot.

But to be really honest, not sure if I want him now (not because I don't like him) but still feel we can do better.

No idea but how about Juan Mata?

Anyways, I'd take Johnson over Jarvis too.

Same here. Himself and Banega are by far their best players at times this season. We know they'll take offers when they come in having already done so with Silva and Villa

He is the left midfielder we have been crying out for the last few years, even shithead wanted us to sign him before he left for Chelsea, and Mata has talked about us in the past

Would be an epic double signing that and a clear sign of intent that would surely show everyone at the club our new owners ambition. Would also take Johnson, but I can't see City selling to a Champions League/Title rival
