      Torrent & Computing question
      Dec 06, 2010 01:51:08 pm
Alright well since I torrented FM and just got my brother The Sims 3 :P I fancy getting it as well as he says it's class :P
      BUT
      a) It's pretty big
      b) I have, FM 11, iTunes, Norton internet security, Daemon tools, Firefox, SopCast, Photoshop (already on here) & MSN manually installed on my laptop so I'm not sure if there's gonna be space or if there is will it slow my computer down to f**k and back? Is there a way to check PC space? Well, laptop
      c) I've just found a torrent, and it offers you to download each part of it seperate? http://www.kickasstorrents.com/the-sims-3-razor1911-final-maxspeed-t2657252.html
So say if I downloaded the image file seperately and on it's own then that'd be pretty quick yeh?
Then once installed I'd just download the crack and done?

But in thelike install notes it says - "Install Notes: 1. Mount or Burn image 2. Install and use one of serials or keygen from razor1911 dir Final Version Install Notes" - do you see that as an option to download or what?
Or could someone help andfind a torrent or instruct me or whatever :P

You probably have enough space left. Go to computer in the start menu, then right click -> properties on whichever hd you want to install the game on to see how much space there's left on there.

Don't know enough about your laptop to know if you'll be able to run the gamer properly, but if you can run FM 11 then you should be fine.

Not much use downloading that torrent in parts mate, since besides the big 5 gb image part, the other ones alltogether only make about 25 MB.

To install that game you will need to mount it first with a program like daemon tools lite. Then after installing you probably need to patch the game, then apply a crack and/or use one of those serials to be able to play.

Yeh i have Daemon tools as i used that with FM :)
So you reckon, download it all,
Mount & install the original image
Then replace the .exe file which will be in the program files with the one in the crack folder of the torrent?
What if it asks about a serial during install?

Well, then there should be serials included somewhere in that torrent I'd say. Hard to tell where since I haven't downloaded it.
Sometimes crack and serial stuff is packed within the actual image. Hard to say.
