Fernando Torres (Premier League appearances and goals)

      Benitez

      2007/08  33 games 23 goals (69% strike rate)
2008/09  24 games 14 goals (58% strike rate) - One of our best ever league seasons - plenty of goals from midfield.
2009/10  22 games 18 goals (81% strike rate) - Suffered tons of injuries in season.

      Hodgson

      2010/11  15 games 5 goals (33% strike rate)

We will continue to suffer as long as we dont play to the strenghts of the players in our squad. Especially one as potent as Torres. Maybe eventually he will adjust to 4-4-2, but he shouldn't have to

That's what my mind is telling me 90% of the time. Don't bring Craven into Anfield. I am happy with the Cavern at the city centre.
Now we have that world beater Darren Bent linked with us why is a mid table team buying mid table players if it wants to be top 4?

Goals cost us against Spurs. We should have been 3 up at half time, but instead it was a game we lost 1-2
