Can;t Believe Roy is after another player over the age of 30
I can, since he obviously don't like to sign youngsters. Routine, routine, routine.....And Ronaldinho, well, old 'n fat i think. Not a FSG prospect.

Said to be close to signing for Flamengo in the Brazilian press.

Apparently he has called Adriano asking for references about the club and the city.

His son also lives in Rio which is a bonus.

His former club Gremio is serious in the fight for him too, though.

Not too many people are able to come back after years off form...

It's not like he had many years off form. In 2008-09 his first season with Milan was disastrous, but in 2009-10 he had 12 goals and 16 assists in 36 appearances, a better season than the average of his carreer, and similar to his two first seasons at Barcelona (he was only more decisive in 2005-06 and 2006-07).

Not to say I'd want Liverpool to pay for him, but I think he's not a proven has been and may very well have one or two good seasons in his future. If we could have him for no transfer fee, I'd consider him a rather good move despite his wages.

i'd have him for anything under £10mil. but if we're willing to pay £18mil for carlton cole then go ahead and splash out. he's not quick but he has skill and sure can finish when he wants to.

Now they have tabled a £6.2m bid. Breaking news on SSN. They can have him, he will be on crazy wages.

in fairness tho, it will be cool to see arguably one of the greatest players of the modern generation actually play in the Premier League.

Maybe he's heard there is a half-decent Samba seen/scene at Blackburn.

True but he isn't at that level anymore. He would come here for one last payday and nothing else IMO. Blackburn would be better off buying several players with the money rather than all on Ronaldinho.

I'm sorry, but these so called "links" to Ronaldinho, if there are any, are absolute garbage. We all know that he is going to Brazil, thus I recommend locking this thread.

Watched ssn interviewing one of Blackburn's new owners about him and Beckham. The interviewer sounded bemused by him. Very odd interview. Dont think Ron will be going anywhere but Brazil
