Yes, I've seen Barton bully Gerrard out of games, especially when he was playing for City.

As far as I'm concerned Torres stood up for himself.
As Chris waddle said Torres was running the show until then.

Torres was hardly in the game, had he taken his chance in the second half, we might have seen a different Torres.

Joey Barton is just a typical scally.

Beats up locals with his cronies and works in groups.

But where is the service he is supposed to feed off.

And what do you expect when the manager wants you playing like a yard dog chasing every hoofed clearance?

Unfortunately, it's written all over his face.  He is not happy with these long ball, kick and chase tactics.  We know what he can do when he gets the ball to his feet and he can turn the defender.  Roy doesn't seem to want to know.

Honestly don't think it would of mattered.

      Barton is a lunatic and doesn't give a sh*t, absolute tw*t.

Could someone please state what was said?

Anyways, about Torres. How the heck is he supposed to do anything when he's hardly getting the ball 80% of the game (not just this game but overall away)? He isn't the forward that chases long hoofballs either.

It's amazing what he can do when the ball is played to his feet, though.

No excuse. He was f**king awful. If his name was anyone but Torres this forum would be into overdrive over the amount of articles criticising him.

In answer to the question in the  thread, of course he would have, he has a rep for being a mouthy sod, Gerrard being on the pitch wouldn't have made an iota of difference.

I'm not gonna make excuses, he has looked sh*te and half-arsed but at the same time, it's quite clear he's been asked to play a different way and it's something he's not happy with.
