Werner said "We believe in what Roy is doing".

Do you believe in finishing 12th?

I'm gonna try and ring in if i get through what should i ask him !
      1) I'v heard rumors he's a member that he's a member of alot of liverpool forums which ones and does he take their opinions into account ??
2)Are they happy with the fact Roy is trying to lower fans expectations referring to the victory against transbonzor as a famous victory and claiming our derby defeat against Everton as our best performance of the season

      Any more ideas ??

      Next question:

Stadium - caller doesn't want us to build a new stadium; seems he's calling for an Anfield redevelopment.

Werner: "We agree that it's a cathedral. It;s similar to Fenway Park.

"We feel the need to do something to increase our revenues to put the best possible squad together.

"[We] have had several meetings about it, and we know we need to do something.

"Too early to say anything for definite, but we are making progress."

Caller now asking about investing in the team:

      "Will there be investment?

"Roy Hodgson, 'IMO', with his CV, should not have been made manager of LFC.

      "How was Dalglish overlooked?"

Werner: Interested in long term, and value.

Henry: Area we may not be in sync with supporters is that fans are much more foccused on the short term.

Sounds like they are defo going for younger players, so good response there IMO.

Werner [re: investment]: "We want to take risks that benefit the club LONG term."

Henry: "We may not be in sync with the supporters, as when I was a fan I didn't worry about the long-term aspects."

Basically saying we need to look at the long-term rather than the short-term.

"It takes time for a club to rebuild.

"In this case there have been some short-term decisions that have really hurt (Hodgson???)

"We need to start making long-term decisions that will benefit the club. We have to be patient."

What can the man say with regards Hodgson really?

He is obviously not going to undermine him in front of cameras even if he did want him out

The bloke putting the questions to them, interrupted the caller and said they will just put his first question (regarding the stadium etc) to them. Then cut him off.

Asking if LFC still exists to win trophies - does Hodgson look like the man who can lead us to trophies?

Werner: "We're fans, we're also impatient - encouraged by the fact the League is topsy-turvy.

"Thought the play against Chelsea was inspired."

Ian: "It does take time to win trophies, but hopefully not too long

"Players don't play to come second, third or fourth. We have to be first whether it's in a cup or the League. That's what we all want."

No definitive answer regarding the manager-trophy question.

PGlynn, I agree - I don't expect them to turn on Hodgson on-air, but they haven't sounded like they've been overly impressed with him.
