I don't think he's that bad, but we don't need him, we've enough average players, we need top class.

F**k me I thought he was over rated when he was at Blackburn and was praying we didn't sign him and what has transpired is he is F***ing over rated.

We should steer well clear, I've seen snails F***ing quicker than this lad. If Comoli gave the go ahead for Spurs to pay £17 million for this lad I'm extremely worried.

I might be alone here, but i'd have him for 5m. Natural width, can whip a cross and can pick a pass.

Understand the reservations wholeheartedly but i have liked him since his Blackburn days and always had wraps on him. Still 26 so won't add to the aging squad we have and we can finally have some natural width.

However, if he did come it can't be the only signing we make. There has to be more with it, otherwise a January window with just David Bentley won't suffice.

No F***ing way Crouch he is unbelieveably over rated, I guarantee you he would flop here as well. He is a F***ing knob head as well with a massive ego. Steer well clear of this lad.

He'd be a no from me. He's not a bad footballer (though worth nowhere near what Spurs paid for him) but is a bit of a silly c.unt by alkl accounts. Kicks around with a couple of real prize d!ckheads, and has pretensions about having a clothing range/pop career and all that old b0ll0cks. Wenger bombed him for supposedly too much extra-curricular activity, and while he might not quite be in Jermaine Pennanta league is by all accounts one to avoid.

Used to rate him but the fact that he's not a starter for Spurs says it all.

Thats a shout that mate. Spurs absolutely stole him for a couple of mill, and it's only because they have Modric and two good wide men in Lennon and Bale that he can't get a game.

Agree. He's a decent player and tonight's game proved our squad is paper thin. Why not take him? Established PL player, takes set pieces, scores goals. For £5m? Why the hell not??

Is he the type of player that is going to change our team?

Do I think he would drastically change our fortunes?

Would he be a shoe in key first teamer?

NO!!! We are trying to compete with Spurs, not buy their leftovers.

But what depth do we have in our squad? I think if he came along with another winger we could finally say we have players who can produce something on the wings. Rather him than Milan, Babel or Kuyt. Get rid of those two and have a wing of Maxi, Bentley, Cole and Mata for eg. then it'd a lot better than Kuyt, Babel, Cole and Maxi.

Niko Kranjcar over him any day!

I'd take him, too. But natural width was what i was hoping for from a winger.
