 He'd be a no from me. He's not a bad footballer (though worth nowhere near what Spurs paid for him) but is a bit of a silly c.unt by alkl accounts. Kicks around with a couple of real prize d!ckheads, and has pretensions about having a clothing range/pop career and all that old b0ll0cks. Wenger bombed him for supposedly too much extra-curricular activity, and while he might not quite be in Jermaine Pennanta league is by all accounts one to avoid.

Used to rate him but the fact that he's not a starter for Spurs says it all.

Agree. He's a decent player and tonight's game proved our squad is paper thin. Why not take him? Established PL player, takes set pieces, scores goals. For £5m? Why the hell not??

But what depth do we have in our squad? I think if he came along with another winger we could finally say we have players who can produce something on the wings. Rather him than Milan, Babel or Kuyt. Get rid of those two and have a wing of Maxi, Bentley, Cole and Mata for eg. then it'd a lot better than Kuyt, Babel, Cole and Maxi.

Not squad players who i dont think are all that good. I wouldnt say no to him if he was cheapish but anything abobe £5-6million and I wouldnt bother.

The wingers I would personally look at are Young, Turan, even N'Nogbia.

Why don't we buy the whole Spurs reserve team sure they are a bigger team then us now. If we sign Spurs players now it should be there best players.

I think with the right manager i think he could offer more than Kuyt and Maxi on the right hand side. Both are the wrong sides of 30 now and Bentley can still whip a cross in and he is a natural winger, somthing we have not had since Pennant.

Bentley can whip a good ball in and has a creative edge. Something we really lack. Why not for a cheap price?

Think he would be a decent squad player for us, he sticks out wide, technically is a good player and as has been said he can actually cross a ball.

I'm sick of seeing us have people out wide who cut in and lose the ball. Bentley will either take his man on, and go out wide, or will cross it early. He's got a decent eye for a pass aswell.

5 mill? Definitely would take him.

Not sure about this one, some nice touches but inconsistent (but that would suit our present manager).  I mean if he ain't good enough for spurs and is often referred to as being a bit of a n*b.  I'd like to see us aim our sights a little higher.

In fairness Beckham moved with all the speed of a glacier, but was one of the best crossers around, which just shows that getting to the byline isn't a necessity.

He takes a pretty good free kick and corner as well.

£5 million, combined with a couple of slaps when he starts gazing into the mirror, and we might have a decent player at a pretty cheap price.
