After almost 10 years in the wilderness since his last album The Chronic, the man who founded Eminem and Snoop is back with his final album Detox!  This is the only released song to date, and I gotta say I love it.  No more low-riders granted, but still reminds of those good old days...

I've never been that much into rap.  But 2001 is an EPIC album.

Made some great music from his NWA days right through to his solo and collaboration stuff. Hard to believe how old he's looking now. Can't really pass judgment on that song though, can't stand Akon.

Finally. Eminem mentioned it on his Relapse album that Detox was coming out soon and now we know sort of when.

Was a massive fan of his back in the nwa days and world class wreckin crew, and to a lesser extent his solo days. However, i WILL NOT be clicking on the above link on the strength that the song contains akon...(FFS)! That in itself is proof enough for me that dre has lost it and the song will no doubt be a steaming pile of crap with the "top 40" on it's radar. Good day to you.

Unfortunately, I clicked it. It was sad to hear. As much respect as I had for Dre, should we really be surprised that he could come out with something like that after seeing this old photo. Gangsta eh
