Born&bred dub. Left dublin 20 years ago now living in near armagh but spent a long time in drogheda,co louth.
So its a fcuked up hillbillie accent

Went to Drogheda years ago there used to be a holiday camp there but I've had it on Google maps and it's really changed, as it was it would have been a perfect setting for Father Ted.

Mosney? It's quite a bit away from Drogheda around 15mins. It's now a refugee camp.

I live near Drogheda but was originally living in Dublin. Was born in Milton Keynes though, dad moved there from Liverpool he used to live in Seaforth or something like that?

Forgot to add.. I've a soft Dublin accent.

The most cringeworthy accent imaginable but people outside Northern Ireland seem to love it for some peculiar reason.

The holiday camp was called Red Island, it was a couple of hundred, yards or so from Drogheda village, from what I remember we used to walk out the main gates onto the coast road do a left and walk into the village further up the coast, it was just a little fishing village then but it's more years ago than I care to remember.

Born & bred in Liverpool (kensington & Toxteth) for 30 years, so have a scouse accent. Although I live in the Isle of Man at the moment.

Sounds like it's that Mosney place you mentioned before. I know it did close a good while back and I was amazed to see on the Google maps how big Drogheda is now, all the estate was just fields with cows and sheep, beautiful coastline though.

Used to go in the Bluebell many years ago and there were a good few lads originally from the South end and they used to talk near enough like anyone else, the accent now is exaggerated scouse even like 20 years ago you could go to Scotland road and not hear the thick accent the kids give it now - it's the thing to do, talk and act hard.
