Players to ship out? (Poll added)

So whats your choice opinion and reason for them to go:

Konchesky - just sh*te
Poulsen - utter sh*te
Babel - im sorry, but he has had his time and not done enough with it
Ngog - never going to be a PL striker, good lad but his limit has been reached.
Jovavovic - not been given the chance up front but we could do with the ££
Lucas - im torn on this one, but with merieles and shelvey i would move him on.
Skrtel - again, torn but i would rather see a better quality defender in, maybe bring one in before we sell him on.

i dont think we should ship all of these out in one go, replace as needed but i think we need a very good clearout.

Why let Lucas go when he has been one of our better players this season?

I'd sell Konchesky and Poulsen right away. I'd only sell the others if we can find better replacements.

I agree on all apart from Lucas and Skrtel, we need squad players as well. I admit that they are not world class players, but they do not fall in the same catergory as Konchesky and Poulsen, and considering the injury prone squad we have, those two players will come in handy.

Yeah i was sketchy on them both myself, but from a 3rd persons perspective they are average, and im sure we have some average youth players who could step up, kelly and wilson, pacheco, shelvey ect.

We should have a strong base and bring in the players who we know are good enough to develop.

Not all at once like i said but we are clearly lacking.

Lucas is a starter for the Brazil Selecao, what the f*ck are you on ?

Poulsen is a denmark international so F***ing what!

Its just an opinion, i think he is average.

Lucas 'became' a starter for the 'selecao' while playing for LFC and is about 23. Poulsen is a 30 year old well out of date journey man. Benmark is not Brazil and Lucas got picked because a manager watched him at club level.

Like i said its an opinion, i want the best for the pool like we all do, i didnt post this to argue with anyone!

I just think he is average, i doubt any other top team is clambering for his signature, he may be a suitable squad player though, i dont see him anywhere near the quality of Alonso or Mascherano and thats what we need in there.

Yeah, but i do feel Kuyt is a top utility player, again another player played out of position.

He gives his all, and sometimes its needed. if he was happy as a rotated squad player i would keep him.

He does chip in with goals even from the right wing where he clearly cannot play to his best.

Alonso plays for Madrid and Masch plays for Barca and if there were better then these teams would get them and we would not be in the running. Oh Yeah we are nowhere near 4th no CL andwe don't have the financial clout of the big hitters. People say Rafa was crap in the transfer market yet he brought two of the best CL in the world to LFC. Lucas is a very very good player and no press agenda or wum will convince me other wise

7 players isnt half the squad, and i do state we should replace, cmon you gotta admit we need better players than these

Agree about Lucas and i would give the other 2 away wouldnt worry about selling them , Just incase roy is tempted to play them again!

I agree with you even with both players I like who you were torn over in Martin and Lucas. Even with Kuyt being good utility though I think age is not on his side and taking 8mil or so for his services would benefit us, though not this window maybe at the end of the season.

N'gog doesn't seem to have the personal drive despite what he says. could be the manager. is on thin ice for mine needs a kick in the ass from a top class manager, could mean leaving us..

I'd agree with all 7 players you have listed.  If I could Fantasy Football a Liverpool team then those 7 probably wouldn't be in it.

Konchesky, Poulsen and Babel would be my first three out of the door.  I'd imagine they are all paid pretty highly.  Unfortunately FIFA rules state Konchesky has to stay until the summer.

Jovanovic arrived on a free.  To be entirely honest to the lad I haven't seen enough of him playing, certainly not up front next to Torres, to comment on his role in the squad.

When Insua broke into the team I thought he looked good. However, I think he took a liking to pies because he seemed to put a bit of weight on in the last season. SO unless he has lost some weight in the Turkish sun no way would I have him back too slow. Konch, Poulsen, Babel, Jovanovic would be gone if I had my way. I think we need to keep Cole to the end of the season. He's not really had a decent run yet and I would give him a chance to prove himself.

no way, we need some depth in squad. we're no citeh or chasky that we can afford two 15/20m rated players per position. besides, i like kuyt, give him a treat and watch him wag his tail after running non stop for 90 minutes.

konch, poulson, ngog and possibly babel out. that's 15-20 mil raised right there.

Defo keep Cole, he does have quality, i would like to see Jova up front with Nando for 2 or 3 games but its just not going to happen and i dont think we have the time to "see" if it works anymore.

Can't fault that statement but Lucas and Skrtel do not fall into the same "get shut" category and deserve some leeway.
