Of course there is no excuse but if the manager is responsible for getting the best out of his players. He sets up the tactics, he tells Reina to hoof the ball up field. He tells Meireles to play right wing, he plays NGog when he cant perform at this level, he does not play Agger, he plays Kon.....cant even bring myself to write his name....he teaches the team to sit on the 18yard line....

Sorry the manager is to blame - end of.

He doesn't know how to get the best out of the quality players we have.

He's stuck in a 30 year old, mid table gameplan.

He needs to go before my head explodes.

The basic fact is, and this is worrying if NESV don't recognise it, is that this team is in drastic need of change. Benitez to Hodgson was not change and a return for Rafa is not change either. This team needs a new era to start immediately, someone who recognises that the majority of this squad is not even close to decent. Roy is not going to do that and will never do that. Perhaps it comes in the form of Ralf Rangnick and I have no doubts that it will come in the form of Didier Deschamps but one thing is for sure this team is in need of desperate change.

So what change is needed? Apart from the management department let's look at the playing staff. For a start the likes of David N'Gog, Soto Kyriagkos, Paul Konchesky, Christian Poulsen and I'm afraid Lucas will all have to leave. There are far more worthy players out there than this bunch. Collectively they have offered Sweet FA. You may say why is Lucas there? When he's good he's decent but when he's bad he is shockingly bad and lately we have seen this yet again. Most players of his price can do the job on a far more consistent basis. He is a player who crumbles in games against teams we should be beating. I thought briefly that he was worthy of playing for Liverpool this season. The last couple of months have made up my mind. Lucas can follow Hodgson out the door and I wouldn't shed a tear. They are all utterly well below standard for what is required of a mid table Premier league club (which we are at present) and certainly embarassing for a club of Liverpool's stature.
And what's with the corny, undeserved support of some of these players? What the hell does it mean in matches like these saying 'Ohhh you're being harsh on N'Gog - he's improving or 'Lucas is playing MUCH better than he ever has'. That means F**k ALL when you're Liverpool FC and you're 12th in the league. Is this what we, the Liverpool FC supporters, have come to? Defending players who have absolutely no right to be defended?

Watching the Blackburn manager's interview it became obvious the world and it's mother know how to beat us. . . " We were organised, quick on the counter attack and we exposed the space behind their fullbacks " That would be the two fullbacks that cant defend, no longer being covered by two holding midfielders, leaving massive spaces for the opposition to play into. On the plus side. . . Watching this on LFCtv for free. . . Woo

I do kind of in a tiny tiny way feel sorry for Roy, with the lack of players actually trying it will be hard to get a result
      BUT
That is the job of a manager to turn those attitudes around!

How can they be motivated if they are playing for Roy Hodgson?

It probably suggests he fills them in with no confidence.

I love how Roy Hodgson is supposed to be a good defending manager but yet we lose 9/20 league games and have been negative goal difference practically the whole season.

On the other hand, under the 'Fat Spanish waiter', who was also known for defensive qualities, we were around top 5 in goals scored and least goals conceded for like the last three seasons.

      Woeful. Embarrassing. Disgraceful.

How long do we have to put up with that? Especially after being F***ing soaked in the pissing freezing down rain before getting into the ground.

Stop F***ing complaining, we've still got a 100% record at Anfield in 2011.

Wait, are we meant to be satisfied?

I'll confess right now, I'm a moaner and don't settle for less especially when we can have better.
I demand the best, and if best means second place they I'd be quite happy. We're not seeing nowhere near the best.

I got back safe and sound around midnight mate, no need to worry. The traffic was bad but it eased off on the M6. Thanks for your concern though.

If he is not sacked by early morning as a fan im gonna sh*t my self because that will mean were dealing with tight fisted owners who havent got a clue about football and we all know what happens with that combination. Hopefully Nesv will put my fears to bed in the morning
