Listening to 5 live and Leicester v Man City.

Who the f**k pissed on Steve Claridge's cornflakes this morning? Spent the first two minutes ranting at co commentator Ian Dennis over Dennis taking up half his seat with his coat, complains that the Beeb doesn't give him any big games anymore (I wonder why??) and then proceeded to goad Dennis on his perceived state of fitness after spotting a fitness ball on the field.

'That's not one of those beach balls on the field, it's one of those fitness balls that keeps your belly in trim, something that you've never used' or words to that effect.

Either pissed cornflakes or he caught Ian Dennis shagging his wife!

Always thought that guy was an absolute bellwhiffer when he used to present the football league show. Complete journeyman as a player and a crap pundit it seems to boot.

      Agree.

He's an absolute tosser who seems to think he knows everything about the game.

Sitting down to tune into 5 Live for the match...and I hear Danny Mills' voice. Co commentator for tonight.

      Bollocks.

Danny Murphy thinks Spuds are now better than LFC. And only 3 players from us would get into Spuds side. Seems a bit farfetched. Too much mulled wine Danny ?

The guys a tool. It's annoying when some of my old favourite players turn into shitty pundits who barely speak an ounce of sense: Owen, Murphy, McManaman...

Sounded like he was going to cry when Klopp didn't bring Lallana on.

      It was ridiculous.

Now I'm a fan of Lallana but you'd think to hear Murphy it was Messi on the bench.

F***ing hell that BBC punditry was bad.

WTF were Shearer and Wright on about at half time?

We fielded a reserve team of kids and guys that literally hadnt kicked a ball in anger all season, and they were wittering about how Jürgen would be angry at half time. We were the better side in the first half by a distance! The only reason we were behind was cos of another howler from Bogdan.

Pair of them are thick as sh*t.

Lallana is a sweet player his touch is sublime his control as good as anyones so why would you put him out on a cabbage pitch and Murphy is supposed to be an expert

They're in good company as the vast majority of the pundits working on the BBC, both radio and TV, are dire.

I fukin hate the BBC with a vengeance. Only good things they do now is Sherlock & Doc who.

The sport is shocking, that darts that's on now is pub standard. They have lost most of the golf, gave up on MOTD years ago, pundits are w*nk#rs

The BBC has never recovered from capitulating to Blair and Alistair Campbell over David Kelly/ Iraq.

Ever since they've been like a frightened dog trying to please whatever government's in power, while said govt gives them a kick every time it feels like it.

Their political coverage is a joke, they're giving up on all the sport because they're trying to cut costs to please the Tories, and they haven't had the nerve to commission any entertainment that might end up being risky or controversial in case Daily Mail readers dont like it and start demanding the abolition of the licence fee.

What was the last decent comedy they had? Alan Partridge about 12 years ago?
Detectorists is the only semi-funny show I can think they've got now, and the second series of that was a bit of a let down.
