Their political coverage is a joke, they're giving up on all the sport because they're trying to cut costs to please the Tories, and they haven't had the nerve to commission any entertainment that might end up being risky or controversial in case Daily Mail readers dont like it and start demanding the abolition of the licence fee.

Detectorists is the only semi-funny show I can think they've got now, and the second series of that was a bit of a let down.

The only good commentators are Rob Palmer and Gerry Armstrong who do the La Liga coverage on Sky Sports. They actually know what they're on about and understand the technical aspect of the game. It's got to the point now that I enjoy their commentary so much that I am finding myself watching more La Liga and less Premier League. Premier League coverage over the last few years has been absolutely dire, with MNF being a diamond amongst the rough.

One thing that always pissed me off about him was when Jonjo Shelvey was sent off against Man Utd, and Shelvey launched a tirade of insults directed at Ferguson as he walked off. Lawrenson, in shock, says 'you can't do that to Sir Alex'.

Peter Schmeical yesterday, didn't half ramble when trying to make a point, didn't seem to know where he was going with it. Carra and Souness looked visibally annoyed with him, he was pretty rude at times imo, but he's a manc so what can you expect!

Well had a ticket from a friend (Norwich fan) so would have meant sitting in the home end, not a problem done it for the last 2 games we have played the Budgies.
