I absolutely despise Martin Tyler. How many times does he want shoe horn that slip in today.

All these pundits clamoring to proclaim Sterling player of the year because he has spoken up about racism.

Just smacks of them trying to prove they aren’t part of the media establishment that he has been referring to by praising him to the heavens now. Very little was written about us performances before the racism thing came up and now they can’t get enough of him.

To be fair he has had a great season and is legitimately in with a genuine chance for awards this season.

Yeah to be fair he has had a very good season but there’s only one winner for me.

BBC pundits voted 14-7 in favour of Van Dijk.

Yes he has had a good season, his best probably since he sh*t on us and fu**ed off to shitty, despite all of that though, he was right to speak out how he did about the racism he encountered, but I still hate the little kunt for being a Judas to us,
All these ppl now that want to suck his dick were nowhere near him when he went through his racism ordeal, he’s up for top awards because of his contribution to his clubs endeavours and not because of the colour of his skin.

Pains me to say this but if he were to win a award it’s probably deserved, big Virgil would be my choice, but I am being slightly biased.

If VVD doesn't get it, then something is wrong. Particularly if the mini turd does win.
Or maybe normally its someone from the title winning team [just thinking this in case we don't win it :) ]
      VVD for me hands down.

Louis Saha has to be one of the worst pundits going, he barely says a word! Just stood there tickling his balls with the microphone.

Don’t remember him saying a word at half time.

Given the current state of British tv punditry the old saying 'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt' could never be truer.

Extra points for Louis Saha on that basis alone!

Worst pundit of them all? Jermaine Jenas has had a superb week on that front I see - definite front runner at the moment.

Can't understand some of the pundits arguing that wasn't a penalty today. I can only assume their zippers are covered in lanolin.

I can’t believe any of them suggesting mo dived, with the evidence they have in front of them, especially in slo mo. At least Jenas came straight to the point and said,
      It’s a definite pen. No question !

Where did that little sh*te Pat Nevin pop back out from? Really thought he was gone.

Next time he says I'm not being biased and then proceeds to be biased, someone please sock him in the face.

It's not about the evidence mate, it's about creating the media narrative.
Can't have some dirty foreign diver beat "our 'Arry" (e's one of our own y'know) to the golden boot, and if he does, then it has to be tarnished (he only won it by diving).
It's F***ing pathetic, and typical of the English press/media.

This could be the worst part of the match - punditry.

The old saying goes "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach"

Same applies here; "Thse who can, manage. Those who can't, go into punditry"

One of the best pundits, Gary Neville, was an utterly abysmal failure as a manager, but at lest he tried, unlike most of the others.

It's just jobs for the boys.

We should start a pool on how many cliches the commentator and studio pundits come out with before and during the match.
