Let's forget about the result, the ref and just focus on the performance. We played well with 10 men. We were better then united with 11. We need to beat blackpool and I see it being a wide open, free flowing, high scoring game. If blackpool play like they normally do I see us creating plenty of chances.

I would leave Meireles out because I think he still has a knock. I might have created this topic a little early but I feel we should stop complaining about the ref and focus on our next game. If Joe is not fit I would put Maxi in the middle and Babel on the left.

The best thing is it will be 100% kenny's team and we will see his tactics and everything implented instead of Sammi lee's. We will also see Steve Clarke involved as of tomorrow.

I'll play the same team as today except change Babel for Kuyt and Shelvy for Lucas, who can being sub if Raul has an other poor game.

I really feel we are going to be a different unit now ,we showed fantastic resilience against 13 men ,,,including Webb and the touch judge ! and that was without arguably our top player ,let's go on the attack and get amongst them !

Although at this moment in time with our away form, I would take any sort of victory!

Bit harsh leaving Meireles out.  I know he didn't have a good game when Gerrard went off, but I'd say he was overcompensating for him.

He'd be a starter for me.

I wouldn't drop Kelly.  Johnson against Blackburn at right back was a horror show.  I'd probably keep the same team, move Johnson to right wing and play Kuyt just behind Torres.

Try and start building from the back a bit more.  Be nice if we halved the number of unsuccesful punts upfield by Torres.

Good to see against United all this sitting back and letting the opponents have the ball sh*te has been knocked on the head.  It's been embarrassing watching Liverpool trying to soak up pressure and allowing sh*t teams to knock it round.

Push them back in their own half where they belong.

Think Joe deserves a start in his favoured role and Shelvey did enough to start for me. Meireles not dropped because of his performance but he didn't seem 100% fit so I'd rest him up for the derby.

Get Pacheco on that bench too in case we go 2-3 goals ahead.

I thought Miereles was awful today but I put that as a one off and don't think he deserves to be dropped after one game as he has been very good all season but Kuyt has been poor all season and because Glen has been poor at the back and Kelly has to start I'd play him at RM.

There seem to be a breath of fresh air after King Kenny took over. We lost today but it was due to a controversial penalty but we can take the grit, determination and hunger of wanting to win the ball and try to level the score from the game as the positives.

Though Raul Meireles and Dirk Kuyt looked sloppy, we looked more composed and comfortable as a team and let us not forget, that was an away match.

Is Stevie banned for this match? or does the ban only apply a week after the sending off? If that's the case, he should be eligible for this and banned from the derby onwards.

We were outplayed by Blackpool back in Anfield so let's come back now.

My formation would be the one above. Kelly and Aurelio are far superior to Johnson and Konchesky in defence. Give Johnson a shout on the right and see how he does. Have Cole in the hole.
