What's your Sony DSC-W55 like then Ra Ra Rafa? I'm definitely going for a Cybershot myself and will probably want to spend about £130 at the most?

It's very good, though not as good as a proper SLR camera. The night shots are ok, but its just a compact camera which are only made for casual shots.

I can't attach the file as each picture is about 3mb and this site will only allow you to attach no larger than 2mb files.

Good stuff. What's the quality like on vids? The sound quality ok? As long as it's compact, decent pics at night and takes ok vids, that will do for me.

Ive got the samsung digimax A7 its a great digi check it out before you buy

Trust me, the W series Sony Cybershots are the best series you can get. The T series has add ons, but the quality is not as good!

If you want quality... then look no further!

I regret not getting this camera now, I mean.. 12.1 MP is fantastic! Best compact digital camera on the highstreet in my opinion. Mine is great at 7.2 MP but come on, 12.1 MP is CRAZY!

I'm looking to buy a new digital camera, but there are so many out there, just don't know which are good or bad.

Some of the things I'm looking for on my new camera.

8 megapixels up wards;
optical zoom;
Electronic stabilisation;
Red eye;
A good camera, but has to fit in my pocket;
Very very easy to use, if you read my post on Tommy Smith, you will understand why it has to be easy;
Cost, anywhere from £80 to £250, I need a good one that will last for a lot of years.

If anyone is using a good camera, or if you know anybody who has one, please let me know.

Been very impressed with it so far.  From back pocket and powered off to actually taking a snap and saving it is very quick - less than 3 seconds? Great quality too.
