He didn't. The Evra one was fake, and a joke. And Rooney's was a retweet from someone else, but that seems to be real.

I hope he gets another chance at Liverpool one day.. saying that he has to grow a lot. but he can do that and still be 26-27

Babel is rapping again, in an Ajax song no less, and doing a bad job if I may say so. Translated the song is called We are Ajax, and it hit number 1 in the Dutch itunes charts already. It's a nice gesture as all the money is going to charity, but it's an awful song! :P

Ajax & Friends - Wij zijn Ajax

Babel has been out with an injury for a while now, dislocated shoulder. Although I don't think he's missed and will probably have lost his spot to Viktor Fischer when he returns. Babel started impressive, but started fading already before his injury. Nothing changed there. And Ajax has been on an impressive run without him, 13 points behind first place at one point, but as of last weekend just 1 point behind. Frank de boer really is an impressive manager. every season they start off bad, have a bunch of chronic injuries to deal with, players having left, and he has to to build a new squad. Then as the season progresses the team gets better and better, wouldn't surprise me if they win their 3rd title in a row.

Making a bit of an ass of himself on twitter isn't he? Telling a girl to grow some tits, that as a girl she should stay in her lane. And basically saying he won't discuss football with women. He'll never learn will he, or grow up for that matter.

Yeah, he never seemed the smartest. The thing with the girl started over Rafa, as Babel keeps making digs at him, she defended Rafa. Babel is 28 years old, at the height of his career, and he's playing in Abu Dhabi. Maybe he should stop blaming others and take a look in the mirror.

Probably dawned on him that trying to be a part time DJ affected his football & now making the most of a 2nd opportunity in the PL..

Without wanting to profile a whole nation there's been a few players during Babbels era who have come to the PL from Holland that didn't have quite the right attitude. I know the bitters had a couple in Andy van der Meyde and Royston Drenthe.

Of course since then we've also had Bolo, Dirk and Gini who have been real hard workers in their own ways.

I like Babbel though. Never quite cut it here but has remained a red long after leaving.

I think you missed out another great Dutchman, who just so happens to be a rather good defender ;-)
