Goodbye Ryan and please if you find that "potential" that you were famed for do let us know.

Genuinely wish you the best in Hoffenheim but not at all disappointed to see you leave.

Good luck in Germany Ryan and thank you for your time here like scoring the winner against the Manc scum! Didn't fulfill your full potential here as we only saw flashes of it here and there but your talent is big and use it well in Germany!

Oh and does anyone know why the OP of this thread has a karma rating of -157??!

He already played for them last night in a cup game, they lost to a 2nd division team. Though reportedly he was close to scoring.

Not going to miss him and he gave very very little to the team, he could have been a success at the club but he just couldn't be bothered.

I've got a feeling he's at the wrong club, his attitude on the pitch is awful.

^ Says it all for me. Posted within weeks of him joining. Never ever showed enough effort on the pitch for me. He had/has a lot of talent but never seemed to want to push himself so that he could fulfill that potential.

We won't miss him one bit. Hope he does alright for Hoffenheim though.

Good luck Ryan and happy tweeting!

Read his recent tweets. Very heartwarming. If only Torres showed the same love and respect for the club as Babel did. Thanks Ryan. Go on and be a star.

      Ahaha, I do.

Nice to see Ryan Babel still having the affection for the club even though we sold him. I always rated him since his arrival and felt he had tons of potential but was just too engrossed in other things, IMO, which affected his football.

       Babel's tribute to the Kop
Ryan Babel has used his official Twitter account to thank Liverpool fans for the support they gave him during his three and a half year spell at Anfield.

After 146 appearances and 22 goals, the Dutchman bade farewell to the Reds last week by signing for German side Hoffenheim.

However, Babel was eager to express his gratitude to Kopites and admits he feels privileged to have played for Liverpool.

He Tweeted the following on @RyanBabel on Monday night:

"There is no other club then Liverpool with the anthem " YNWA " !!! #Beautiful

"But hey I'm gonna dedicate a few tweets to some lfc fans.

"Wanna thank ALL of you fans but the ones in particular who believed in me and supported me all those years.

"Its definitely a shame it didn't worked out for me and the club, but that's how it is sometimes.

Agree with you there fella.  Seemed a decent guy who's head just seemed to be somewhere else.  Loads of potential, but sadly never realised with us.

Good luck Ryan.  All the best!
