Official Forum Banner Idea Thread

... and it makes me far less supportive of the idea.

While I understand this quote may well represent a forum where half the members spend their time accusing this or that player of not being good enough or fully commited and end with emphatic sentences about a mythic "Liverpool standard" or "not desserving to wear the red shirt", I don't think it's the kind of support any player need during matches.

As a message for them I'd prefer this other Shankly quote :
"You must believe you are the best and then make sure that you are."
or one reminding them how simple is football
“If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just pop it in the net"

 I am obviously looking at this differently to everyone else, I wish you all the best with the banner and hope the LFCREDs do make it an official banner, which I look forward to  seeing on the Kop

My whole argument was solely about whether the banner is something that is officially recognised by the site, I believe once the site starts to have official symbols it could lead to trade marks and the site becoming more commercialised, it seem I was the only person who thought along these lines so it did start to become a mute point   
 I was always happy for anyone or group to make a banner and would be more than happy to see it in the stands
