Problem is with some people is that they,re not used to us having a bit of money to spend. If City had bought Downing and Henderson for 20 million people would,nt have batted an eye lid. Now we,ve signed them for that amount they are saying we,ve overspent. Wake up people, this is the transfer window of 2011, everyone has thier price, most of them over priced.

It feels strange tho, you know that feeling we have all had to get used to the last 4 + yrs, a feeling that with a new season upon us and yet we're already thinking just where will we finish, will we make the top 6, will we get far in any cup comp, that feeling of ' we really haven't got a prayer of grabbing no19', i hated feeling like that, we can all be enthusiastic and be slightly biased about what we're going to do who we're going to beat, but this time it's different,this time we really really do have a fantastic chance of the top prize, i'm not saying its a shoe in, nor am i saying a cup is a certainty either(just ask Gooner fans), but, this time the feeling is f***in awesome, i cant remember feeling quite so excited at the start of a season as i do for this one, and its all Kenny's fault, i dont think Downing is the final piece not by a long shot, but if the buying did stop now my excitement wouldn't fade, i like everyone else have not got a f***in clue who we will sign next, all i know is that whatever happens we're in for a hell of a ride, and i just cant f***in wait, does anyone else have the same feelings, ?  i wonder if its the same feeling Rooney would get at Grannies convention ?

Hi all.Villa Fan here.It was strange with Downing cus one second he was likely to join LFC,then your attention had turned to Aronn Lennon aparently and then you were gunna sign him,then our owner Randly Lerner said he won't be sold and now he's joined LFC.Unfortunately,footballers don't have loyalty and morals.£20 million is more I expected for him but what can you expect,money,on some occasions can win you trophies and success and if you spend £20 mil on Jorda Henderson,I was suprised you didn't spend £50 mil on Downing. Jokes.Were apparently gunna sign Charles N'Zogbia from Wigan for half of Downing's money for a replacment for Downing.Hope he does well for you and thanks Stewart Downing for the relatively short time,but good memories.

Stewart Downing has today completed his transfer from Aston Villa to Liverpool.

The winger, who has 27 England caps, put his signature on a long-term deal after passing a medical.
